The 2013 Met Gala brought plenty of glamorous ladies to NYC last night. Beyoncé Knowles stole the show in a sexy Givenchy Haute Couture number complete with matching boots, while Kristen Stewart donned a lace Stella McCartney ensemble. Cameron Diaz stayed true to the punk theme in a spiked Stella McCartney gown, and Jennifer Lawrence went classic in a black Dior dress.

The corset bodice — complete with leather harness — gave way to a see-through gauzy skirt and patent black pumps. Nina also walked the carpet at last year's event, though she had a different date in boyfriend Ian Somerhalder for the 2012 occasion. She's been making waves in the fashion world, so it's no surprise that Nina is joining in the festivities to celebrate the opening of the museum's new exhibit, Punk: Chaos to Couture. Nina's gown played on the evening's theme with its leather harness and corset details.

It seemed only appropriate that we ask The Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev her secret to healthy skin — and looking totally refreshed — at an early-morning event for Origins' latest product, the GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturizer ($27). The brunette starlet just finished filming the fourth season of her hit CW series, and made a quick pit stop in NYC before officially embarking on her Summer adventures. Read on for what she revealed about her skin care routine, the weirdest beauty treatment she's tried (recently), and what she can't leave the house without.

1. On her skin care routine:
Nina spends much of her days on the Vampire Diaries set in full hair and makeup, so it makes sense that she takes her skin care routine very seriously. "Even when it looks like I'm not wearing much makeup, I totally am. So, as soon as I'm done on set — I don't even wait until I get home — I'll use a makeup wipe, wash my face, and then use a hot towel. I use it to let my skin breathe, let the pores open up, and then I put tons of moisturizer on."

2. On her mom's beauty advice:
Mother knows best, right? "My mom told me once that if you put an egg in your hair, it will make it supershiny." In fact, Nina's mom is onto something — our favorite DIY hair recipe masks serve as further proof.

The Great Gatsby premiere in NYC last night was a star-studded affair with a whole host of celebrities stepping out to support the movie's stars. Leonardo DiCaprio was the man of the evening, arriving in a sharp suit, while Carey Mulligan and Isla Fisher stunned in Lanvin and Dolce & Gabbana, respectively. Isla changed into her floral red carpet gown after a busy fews day of Big Apple press that included a stop by Good Morning America. Tobey Maguire and Joel Edgerton, who play Nick Carraway and Tom Buchanan, respectively, were also on hand, as were Jake Gyllenhaal, Nina Dobrev, and a Tom Ford-clad Jay-Z.

The screening was just the latest Gatsby celebration after Prada hosted a cocktail reception in the movie's honor on Tuesday night. Isla, Tobey, and Carey made appearances at that event, where they mingled with Katy Perry and Florence Welch.
