OMG! Adam Sandler Is a Matzo Ball Hero!

Man down! Man down! Tragedy almost struck the set of Bedtime Stories on the Santa Monica beach yesterday when Adam Sandler's beloved dog Matzo Ball got a little too close to the waves and had to be pulled out of the water by his daddy. Poor baby, bulldoggies can't swim. As an owner of a short-nosed and non-swimming pup myself, seems like both Adam and I could use Pet's beach tips for dogs. Anyway, Keri Russell was also joined by some serious cuteness on set — her hot husband Shane and little River. This has got to be the most heart-melting and awww-inducing movie set ever.

I've had (one passed away) two bulldogs and they both LOVED to swim...in our kiddie pool where the water only reached the tummy ;)

Betty... I think Matzo IS a she. Meatball was a he and this was his "girlfriend". Your dogs= adorable. I have a lab mix who dives into any puddle of water and tries to swim. He swims so enthusiastically in any lake or ocean that I have to eventually make him stop before he runs out of steam in there and I have to rescue him. Also he'll drink the water in there and then barf later on, esp. if it's salt. Great fun. Cute though!

They make bulldog-sized life jackets. Maybe Adam should get one for when the pup goes to the beach. When I got my bulldogs one of the first questions they asked me was whether I had a pool. Pool = no bulldog for YOU.

We have a boxer who LOVES water. Hes not the best swimmer, but he doesnt care, he will dive right in. But we always put a lifejacket on him at the lake for just that reason
