Olivia Palermo and her longtime partner, model Johannes Huebl, tied the knot in Bedford, NY, on Saturday. Olivia was her usual stylish self in a white Carolina Herrera ensemble and blue Manolo Blahnik heels for the civil ceremony, while her new husband wore a matching suit by Marc Anthony Hamburg. Olivia announced the happy news on her style blog, saying, "We really wanted to keep this beautiful day very private and special to us and enjoyed the whole day with our family and two friends. Bedford is such an amazing and romantic countryside." Johannes popped the question after six years of dating during a January vacation in St. Barts. Shortly after their engagement, the pair showed sweet PDA on the beach together, and Olivia shared her excitement via social media, saying, "Happy New Year to my fiancé! #cloud9 #dreaming #endlesslove."
While rumors swirled on Thursday that Olivia and Johannes actually made things official last weekend — they reportedly eloped in a low-key ceremony at Manhattan City Hall, and Olivia was spotted leaving the building in a short white dress — a rep for the fashion insider shot down the news, saying, "They are doing a much smaller civil ceremony in the states this month, and they are planning to do something much larger later on." Johannes, however, hinted at their big day in an Instagram snap posted Friday afternoon. In the photo of his latest shoe designs, he wrote, "My new loafer designs get delivered; perfect timing for a big day tomorrow."
