Olivia Wilde celebrated her April cover of Marie Claire with a party in NYC and a Spring-perfect outfit. Her white-and-yellow fit-and-flare dress by Monique Lhuillier and strappy Jimmy Choo sandals put a bright spin on cocktail styling, and she furthered the colorful effect with blue eye shadow and pink nails. Watch on to hear all about Olivia's look now! On Allison McNamara: H&M top, Osklen skirt, Samantha Wills earrings.
Olivia Wilde shone in a Monique Lhuillier dress when she celebrated her Marie Claire magazine cover in NYC last night. She is back in the Big Apple after taking a trip to California with fiancé Jason Sudeikis. Olivia got a chance to hang out with her handsome brother Charlie Cockburn in the city yesterday ahead of the big event. It's been a busy week so far for Olivia as the new trailer for her upcoming film Rush was released online on Monday. The project, which costars Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl, follows the real-life story of James Hunt, an English drag racer who ruled the track back in the 1970s.
The easiest way to add some color to your makeup routine this season? Line your eyes in a bright, shimmering shade like Olivia Wilde did last night. At a dinner celebrating her April Marie Claire cover, Olivia wore bright blue eyeliner around her eyes, which is right on trend for Spring. A quick swipe of an eyeliner pencil, like Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint in Big Blue ($16), evenly distributes color over your lid and under your lower lash line. Be sure to use a thin black liner around the inside of your eyes for depth and definition. Just finish with a swipe of black mascara and nude lipstick for a look that's fit for a Spring fete.
Olivia Wilde joined her brother, Charlie Cockburn, for a walk in NYC yesterday. The brother-sister duo brought Olivia's beloved dog, Paco, along for the outing. Olivia's family walk brought a change of pace for the actress, who's fresh off a California visit with her fiancé, Jason Sudeikis, that included a stop at Disneyland. Olivia will keep NYC walks on her schedule, though, since it was announced she will team up with Emma Stone to cohost the 20th annual Revlon Run/Walk For Women in the Big Apple on May 4. SNL star Jason may join Olivia for the five-kilometer race, while a pregnant Halle Berry is set to host the fundraiser for the seventh straight time in LA the following weekend on May 11.
"The closer you are to death, the more alive you feel," proclaims Chris Hemsworth in the trailer for Rush. He stars as James Hunt, the dashing English racer who ruled the high-speed European track in the 1970s. Ron Howard is behind the camera depicting Hunt's rivalry with Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl), the Austrian driver whose run in the 1976 German Grand Prix resulted in a coma, while Hunt took the gold home. The story doesn't end there — Lauda recovers, his crash only sparking the competition between Hunt and himself. Olivia Wilde also stars as Hunt's wife.
Am I the only one with goosebumps? Howard is a reliably good director, and it appears he's giving the delicate story a tender and honest tone. I'm also impressed with Hemsworth, who we mostly know as Thor, and it's refreshing to see him out of the armor. The movie opens Sept. 20, and until then, watch the trailer after the jump.

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis celebrated their inner children when they visited Disneyland in Anaheim, CA, yesterday. The couple cuddled on a kids' ride and walked through the park with a Disney employee. Olivia and Jason also tried to lift Disneyland's famous Sword in the Stone, but were, like all parkgoers, unable to extract it.
The newly engaged couple are in California while Jason's show, Saturday Night Live, takes a short hiatus. Before they headed off to the Happiest Place on Earth, Olivia and Jason took in a show back in NYC when they attended the premiere of Breakfast at Tiffany's on Broadway.
Emilia Clarke channeled Audrey Hepburn's glamour when she premiered her new play, Breakfast at Tiffany's, on Broadway last night. She wore a sheer Dolce & Gabbana frock as she worked the red carpet alongside her costar Cory Michael Smith, who wore Balenciaga, and guests Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde, who hugged and giggled at the theater. The play has been earning Emilia decent reviews, with one Huffington Post play critic admitting that while she doesn't fit the physical profile of Holly Golightly, she did a "more than acceptable job" living up to the iconic character.
Emilia was in the Big Apple for the event while her Game of Thrones costars were busy celebrating the third season premiere of their hit HBO show in San Francisco. She did get to squeeze in some time with her castmates earlier this week when she dropped by the LA premiere of Game of Thrones.
