Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson tied the knot on Saturday, and while the couple announced their engagement in May, many of you didn't think they'd ever get married. BTW, if Scarlett continues being so much more successful than Ryan, it is another factor that will work against them.(has he ever been in a serious movie? I just remember him as a dude from some stupid TV show about two guys and a girl)

If this will last beyond 3-4 years (or should I say 1-2), I'll take my hat off to both of them. I wish them every happiness in the world, but the very short engagement, Scarlett's young age, his former involvement with Alanis and the fact that they're both in showbiz will probably work in the other direction...

i've always hoped that they would get married but we hadn't heard anything about what they were planning to do so i have to say that i literally fell out of my chair when i read the post a few days ago. wow - i hope that we get to hear more about the nuptials and i wish them the best of luck.

I'm surprised that they got married so quickly after getting engaged because it didn't seem like Scarlett would be the type of person to settle down so quickly. If it weren't any other couple, I would say that the quickie marriage was due to pregnancy but I don't think that would be the case for them.

I absolutely love Scarlett, but I am not too fond of Ryan Reynolds. I don't even have a good reason for it. She's too talented, beautiful, and interesting for him. I thought they would call it off. Poor Alanis!

No, I wasn't surprised because I don't know them so I really can't say. I think it's hilarious that people act like they know what's going on in celebrities lives. Come on, you see them in pictures or on TV/Movies every now and then, that's all. You don't know how them personally.
