Ashley Strikes a Leisurely Pose For September's Marie Claire

Ashley Olsen is joining the ranks of the September cover girls with her appearance in Marie Claire. She's been featured in quite a few magazine spreads this year, mostly to publicize her designs and not her acting — as she's quick to point out. The issue is timed to coincide with the release of her upcoming men's collection and Fashion Week in NYC, where we'll hopefully see her and Mary-Kate taking in a few shows.

i actually kind of like that she's concentrating on her fashion line instead of doing the acting thing all the time. i feel like everyone had expectations of what she and MK would do and this is great for her. also to score a September cover is pretty impressive as well. good for her!

Beautiful photos. I am actually quite of fan of her clothing line(s), the designs are chic and laidback, easy to dress up or down. Good for her to focus on what she loves, fashion, and not star in films "just because".

I agree, Ashley looks great. It is awesome that she is secure enough to not make herself keep acting just b/c that is what others expect from her. She seems much happier staying with her many other ventures.
