Christian Rises, Shines, and Gets Down to Promoting
Christian Bale got a hot new short haircut just in time for what will be a big week of promoting The Dark Knight. This morning he kicked things off with stops at The Early Show and The Today Show in New York before taking a walk around the city with his wife, Sibi. He kept it modest when Matt Lauer read a few snippets of the awesome early reviews and continued to defend his friend Heath Ledger's devotion to the project. We're so excited to see the movie for ourselves, but it might be a little scary — even though Christian is already recommending it to 11-year-olds.

24I saw The Dark Knight 2 weeks ago and I would not take a 9 or 10 year old to see it. I LOVED every split second of the movie- but leave the kids at home.

LOVE Christian Bale. Yes he's amazingly hot, but he's a fantastic actor too. He makes interesting choices and never seems to be in it for notoriety - more for craft and expression.
