I don't know if that is just unique to Becks. Those type of insults are heard all the time at sporting events, especially baseballe events. That being said, it doesn't make it right.

Personal attacks are unneccesary. Victoria and the kids shouldn't be mentioned but he deserves to be heckled in other ways. David has been very open that he doesn't want to play for LA anymore and is doing everything he can to get out of his contract. I don't understand why he's surprised that fans are angry about his decision.

Who cares what they yelled out at his wife? People at games yell out insulting things all the time. If David ignores them then the idiot will most likely stop yelling out to Victoria.

And Rebecca Loos wasn't the only one, just the only one he's somewhat admitted to (or rather did not deny).
There were several other women who came forward with the same claims of affairs, one night stands, etc etc...

Becks is just oversensitive. Primadonna! It's pretty normal level of sports heckling. You hear, "your mother.... " or "your sister .... " all the time, regardless of whether the player has a sister or living mother. It's just a coincidence that Beck's wife is famous so people can put a face on it.

American football players dating or married to celeb women hear a few heckles and you don't see them running off the challenge the crowd. Maybe soccer players are more high strung. There is the famous Zidane World Cup head butting incident against another player, and a Colombian soccer player shot and killed a heckler this month.

To the people here and everywhere who said that insulting family members or personal attacks is OK, you are living a very sad life really! You claimed the players should be professional and not response back to those so-called fans, but the fans should be professional too! And it's football/soccer, that's it is the World's BIGGEST/Most Popular Game, coz both the players AND the fans are/should be professional! They always keep the cheering/heckling JUST to the matters ON THE FIELD, NOT OFF IT! And when you start to get personal..that is crossing the line anyday, anywhere! Be professional fans, than you other sports - American rugby, baseball and what not will be a world game too!
