David Plays Milan in Front of His Boys, Posh and Tom

David Beckham returned to the field in LA last night for his first home game since returning to the Galaxy. Posh and the boys all came out to cheer on dad, and Tom Cruise joined in the fun for his friend. The team faced off against AC Milan and before the game Becks said he was looking forward to playing opposite his former team who's already said they would welcome him back. David had an assist, but the mood was soured a bit by booing fans and angry signs. No matter what's going on with his soccer drama, most of you love David anyway even if his Galaxy fans are still holding a grudge.

The Beckhams and Cruises are all winners to me. Nah these few nuts are the losers especially behaving badly in public.Nothing to gain in that. I let my little nieces and nephews take little sips of my sodas.I see no damage done on them.

Oh no!!! Soda to the kiddies!! Be real, they probably walked into those VIP boxes and the kids ran to the treats and sweets. I'm no mom, but one has to pick their battles.

You know that this is exactly what he came here for, right? Keep the league and himself in the limelight (good or bad). If he can still play with the best teams in the world, wth not. The Galaxy fans need to get a grip and think about what they would do in his soccer shoes.

I admire the Beckhams a lot and so good to see his close friends like Tom always supportive of them. Too bad Suri and Katie are in Australia. Win or lose David is a winner to me. He has class than those juveniles.

awwww so good to see the Beckhams and Cruises unite for David and the love of the game...seriously if some are so upset over this Becks is doing something good in the USA and hopefully stir real passion for soccer USA is so bad with soccer and hockey and I want them to get better.

I agree jaan_black. But I feel if I had made that comment I would have been jumped all over and told to mind my own business. Aspartame is not good for little kids. But they aren't my children so I don't give a damn.

I think the fans are completely justified to be ticked off at him. People spent a lot of money on season tickets, Becks jerseys and all the other expensive promotional swag that helped pay his ridiculously high salary, and he hasn't been there much.

I drink Diet Coke - and even though I don't want my daughters drinking ANY pop right now, I'll sometimes allow them to take a sip or two. I wouldn't get her a whole can, though.

I always prefer the diet version. But my favorite has always been Pepsi. About giving diet soda to her kids, I don't find it that bad. The best drink to give them would have been fresh juice, but you know kids will always ask for some junk food, why not give them the best (or not so bad) version of it?
