George Clooney has paraded his newest ladylove Elisabetta Canalis around for the last month, hitting red carpets at film festivals all across Europe. Prior to being George's main squeeze, Elisabetta made her living as a model — and she apparently posed for some racy photos, including a recent Maxim spread. George often presents himself as a distinguished older gentleman, which his taste in girlfriends doesn't always fit. George is very much his own man. I actually think Elisabetta is elegant and carries herself with charm and decorum. Just because she modelled underwear does not make her a bad person. She carried it off well, nothing sleazy, nothing vulgar. The woman has a great body and she carried it off well. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just espousing sour grapes.

I used to really like George but, with the taste in women he chooses, he has lost me as someone who cares. His type of women is quite appalling and I hope he will learn to find someone who will be along side him as his equal who is also politically active and loves bikes and partying, beautiful etc and not just some trashy naked all over the internet ' woman'

what i like about george is that he doesn't make excuses about his life. he's a well established playboy on the outside, but he's proven himself to be a talented actor, philanthropist, and politically-minded. i'd say he can date whoever the hell he wants. most of the public still adores him.

you can't blame the guy for having the taste in women that he does. honestly - he likes girls that are attractive - and if they are models or whatever then that's their thing. i don't think that it's really our place to judge. i think that a lot of folks expect him to settle down with an established hollywood type but it's clearly not his style.

Meh....whatever he likes. I seriously doubt he cares what anyone thinks of his ladies, but I agree with the few who have commented on this one showing her bits and pieces. Anon 16 summed it up nicely, but I am sure some think a girl straight out of playboy is always hot.
