Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi stepped out for a walk in LA on Friday. It's been quite a week for the talk show host, who kicked off a new season of her show and took on a whole new gig signing on as the fourth judge on American Idol. Most of you are on board with Ellen on Idol and she's also racking up endorsements from former contestants and even Paula Abdul herself. Ellen still has a few more months until she takes her permanent place at the judges table, and until then she can flex her vocal chords if she ever needs to prove her place there.
I LOVE Ellen, but I don't think I like her as an AI judge. Although I don't watch AI anymore, so I don't really care.
1I love Ellen too, and I think she'll be a great American Idol judge.
2i dont think she belongs on AI. i know she loves music and all but they should get someone from the music industry, no dought that she is funny, but not my cup of tea. AI can do better.
3this is like a Rich old man with his young hot wife. Portia can soo do better.
4Is Ellen really going to be the 4th A.I judge or it's just a rumor??? If it were true, then I don't understand why they chose her? I like her and her own talk show but I definitely do not think she's suitable and deserves to be a judge in a music show like this. We need someone like Cara who is pretty and talented. She, who knows music well so what comes out of her mouth will be accurate though sometimes are accurate yet right and someone pretty like her so we can watch weeks after weeks without feeling bored. Cara can be a talented judge for people to listen to and who can also be a beautiful decor of the show for people to watch.
5Anyway, I hope it's just a rumor coz if not, I am sure, Ellen will ruin the show.
Correction to my previous comment:
Though sometimes Cara's comments are mean (like Simon's) yet accurate.
6Ellen will not be that long on AI. She will be Olimpic Games judge. Sport? Whatever.
