George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis were side by side yesterday, leaving Lake Como on a helicopter. The couple is back in Italy after a short time in LA, where they dined with good friends Cindy and Rande when George wasn't showing Elisabetta around his hometown. The Gerber-Crawfords aren't the only friends who love Elisabetta — Matt Damon also talked about how great she is for George. Elisabetta and Matt will have plenty more time to bond in the future if the rumors that George wants to direct Mr. Damon in an upcoming project are true.
