The Stars Prep Their Vocal Chords For the Grammys

While Justin Timberlake and T.I. were filming their new music video yesterday, some of the other Grammy performers and nominees were in LA getting ready for the big show. Jennifer Hudson practiced for Saturday night's Clive Davis party, where she'll be performing a duet with a surprise guest before taking the stage again Sunday. Presenter Jack Black tried on a fun hat, while the Jonas brothers — who are up for Best New Artist — signed autographs. Nick Lachey and Jordin Sparks both had smiles on their faces as everyone enjoyed the pre-Grammy celebrations. You people need to grow up and get some dignity! Nick has a huge heart and that is all that matters....really...when it all comes down to it, what else really matters? And, for the record, he has a fabulous voice. You all are just jealous and envious of him for whatever reasons and its really sad. Its not easy being him or any other celebrity. One more thing ....if you don't have anything nice to say, how about keeping it to yourself????

Oh wow *Jessie*. You have good points but Nick is not worthless. He can sing he just needs better songs that fit his style/voice. I don’t think he’s a great actor in films either. He still looks unease in front of the camera. Nick’s words don’t flow out that natural. But hopefully that will change if Nick wants to get a good movie role in the future. He’s free, like us all, to go to an acting studio to get proper lessons. I’m sure he has plenty of time for all that. As for the Grammy Nominees and Performers, I never get that excited about them. I couldn’t tell you the last time I honestly watched that show. It’s been years for me. I don't want to see arogant performer either, like Justin Timberlake. I’m like *aka Daria*, I miss the real music too. These days all you have to do is look good as you show too much of your body parts to get famous. So-called accidental breast slips out of dresses and crotch shots with no underwear, is what too many people want to see these days. Being an alcoholic, drug addict, and claiming that you’re gay, is a good way to get the attention back on you too, once the media begins to ignore you in Hollywierd. What a shameful mess it is these days. I hope it changes for the better soon. Young people can’t take anymore bad influences. They believe in those bunches of phonies far too much. Anywho, as for the real talent, I think Jennifer Hudson has done well so far. And I would only want to see Jack Black if I finally tuned into the Grammy Awards again. Jack always makes me smile at his comedic actions. I saw him on You Tube as Spiderman at an award show (MTV I think), with Sarah Michelle Gellar as Wonder Woman, and I couldn’t stop smiling during that skit.

Nick’s song PATIENCE is awful and most people know that by now. That’s why he’s got millions of negative responses to the song all over the Internet. No amount of promoting is going to make it sound better. It’s an awful remake that should have been left alone by Nick. And his TV show is going to fail just like the last one did. No matter what Nick host or is apart of, it NEVER does well at all. A lot of people know that fact too Gimme. If people tune in for a short time to a movie or show that Nick's on, then it's most likely not to look at him. And as for “Ignorance”....um, honey, we all don’t live in that area. And that’s just a television commercial about a phone/phone service, that’s not real work that Nick worked long and hard to do. Nick was running down the street and then spoke a few words. It only lasted a few seconds. Most people would have to go to You Tube in order to see it. You know you don’t have to be a genius to know that Nick Lachey is loooong over in the industry. He doesn’t have a singing career anymore. And Nick can’t act worth a damn to get a decent movie part either. He’s almost just as worse as Jessica Simpson in that department, they’re both terrible actors. Any work that Nick’s asked to do is most likely things that they would ask a D-lister to do because the A-listers know ahead of time that it’s highly likely that the project is going to fail. It’s just going to be another unwanted show that people are not going to want to see. It’ll be boring and laughable at the same time. Wake up to the facts Gimme. Nick may look nice. But Nick Lachey is DONE is sooo many categories in his life.

Nick Lachey was popular when he was in a bubble gum boy band group. His first CD SUCKED, as we all know. His next CD only sold more because people wanted to hear what he had to say about his divorce from his *more popular* ex-wife. Now Nick Lachey only TALKS about a new CD coming out. You know the one he said was coming out January of 2008. And now it's Feburary 2009! Nick is not that talented unless he has backup, we all see that now. His younger brother Drew is keeping really busy since the group broke up. More people these days in the industry invite Drew to events not Nick. And Nick will show up wherever they tell him too for $50 bucks, just like Heidi and Spencer do when they're not doing their own corny and cheesy photo shoots of themselves on the streets for free.

Well whether you like Nick Lachey or not, he has been in the music business a lot longer than some of the people who were there, and sold more records. Lisa Rinna doesn't belong there as well as Kristen Cavallari.

Why in the hell is Nick Lachey doing there. Everyone else there actually has talent and is wanted. Nick is old news and isn't doing anything productive right now. Boy do I hate it when D-listers show up everywhere that lets them in for free, or when they're low on body count numbers so it doesn't matter who comes early to hang around. I bet Heidi and Spencer were around somewhere. They also like free publicity. They're all untalented media whores.

the grammys are usually fun since there are typically some GREAT performances with artists that you don't always put together. i can't wait for this sunday!
