Jake Is Snap Happy at the Races With Ava and Deacon

Jake Gyllenhaal spent the weekend in Martha's Vineyard, where he played proud photographer as he ran the Chilmark 5K road race on Saturday with Ava and Deacon Phillippe. He's all about joining in on the Witherspoon-Phillippes' family fitness, and Jake seemed ecstatic to share the afternoon with Reese and her son and daughter. The island is a Summertime favorite of Jake's family, and after a few visits from Reese and her kids, it seems to have become a tradition for the whole group.

OMG, I cannot believe the ignorance of some of you. Fauxmance...yawn. If they were really trying to convince everyone they were together, wouldn't they be at every openeing, every restaurant, every PUBLIC event they could, a la Speidi, trying to get their pictures taken? They aren't. Jake gets his pic taken at this event every year. And for those of you who think it's still a fauxmance...why be with someone for three years, hide the relationship until AFTER the co-starring movie came out, and STILL not court the press? Okay, bring on the arguments, psycho-haters.

Love the pictures of Jake and Ava having a good time. Jake seems to be a good influence on the kids.

It's nice to see the kids smiling and enjoying themselves. Not sure what to make of Reese & Jake's relationship but he does seem good to her kids. I think the kids are very lucky to have two parents who are very caring and have kept any animosity to a minimum in the press and keep their focus on the children. Both of the kids have seem to accept their new partners. I think Abbie too is good to the kids and they seem to enjoy her company as well. I do think Ava is looking more like Ryan these days but of course there is still much of Reese there too. Deacon, I think, is looking alot more like his Mom. But both kids are adorable and it's always nice to see photos of them.

i LOVE this - ava looks like she's having such a great time and i think that it's really wonderful that jake is there with the family. i hope that it means that there will be wedding bells in their future.

I use to like Jake, but he has gotten really weird lately. I don't have him attractive anymore. And I still think he is gay, something about him bothers me.

Good call, Diamond, Asche, and Serendipitous... a 5K in Converse???? I love mine but I would never run in them, unless I was about to miss a bus!! Poor kid!! (All of that punctuation was necessary.) I do love Jake's Toothy grin, though.

True Reese fans show their ugly personalities by being incapable of saying anything nice about Reese, Jake or the kids without saying something nasty about Ryan who is an involved and caring father.

Apologist? Come to his defense? What? Just because I rock your world by stating the obvious? How is that apologizing? And LeslieB22, that's all I was saying. I never said they looked nothing like her. Just that Ava looks like both the parents. There's nothing wrong with saying it.

Some of these comments crack me up. We have the person who still believes that their relationship is fake (hilarious) and then the person who complains about how Reese's kids look nothing like her. Ava looks like a mini version of Reese, but I'm sure she has some of Ryan's features as well....my god.

Here come the knee jerk remarks about how Ava looks just like her Mom when it is obvious to anyone with eyes that she has her father's round face, full lips and eyes, not to mention natural blond hair. But it seems to make the Reese fan girls/boys happy to say otherwise.
