J Lo Wears Her Ring and Democratic Blue For Obama Gala

Jennifer Lopez must have thought her wedding ring matched her dress this time around, because she wore it to the Latino Inaugural Gala in DC last night with Marc Anthony by her side. The couple kissed and cuddled throughout the party, chatting with Shakira and other guests as they continue to show off their happiness and squash the divorce rumors. A few people apparently didn't want these two to attend the party since they never publicly supported Obama during the election, but regardless Marc performed and Jennifer spoke as many Latin stars celebrated our new president's inauguration.

You're right jennjenn, I wish she had worn this to the Golden Globes! The night was so lacking in colours and this dress would've gotten her more attention than the blatantly attention-seeking plunge necked gown she did wear. This is elegant and beautiful.

Im married and i dont stress bout always wearing my wedding band BUT jlo is media savvy and knows what the media will say if she doesnt wear it. she was making a point. i hate her hair styled like this

I think she and shakira looks great... As for people complaining that she didn't support Obama... That's a personal choice isn't it? She chose to be low key abut her vote while others chose to be more vocal.

I read somewhere that she didn't wear her ring that night b/c it didn't match her dress.... a little strange since her ring goes much better with the dress she wore to the Globes than this but she looks 100% in this than what she chose for the Globes.

I agree -- Shakira looks gorgeous. Such a pretty face and figure! Good for her. I don't always wear my wedding set either. However, I always wear SOME ring on my finger. Usually it's a ring my husband had given me in the past when we were dating or as an anniversary present. Over the years, hubbie has given me a lot of pretty jewelry, and I rotate the rings on my finger. Some people thought I was a single gal, as I wore a non-wedding looking ring on my left hand. LOL

I agree with you ilanic13. There are a lot of celebs who didn't openly support Obama, but you see them coming out now and so what! On another note, Jennifer looks amazing. I have to say, I'm married and I don't wear my wedding ring everyday. I get bored of wearing my ring and change it up. Its not a big deal! Its not a crime to not wear your wedding ring every single day!

that's such a great color for her to wear - and well if people are going to be petty about having them attend, then those people need to deal. i think that a lot of folks who didn't openly support obama are willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that he'll be able to change things.
