Jessica Simpson Laughs With Dane Cook, Not John Mayer

Jessica Simpson spent last night out at the Laugh Factory in LA seeing her Employee of the Month costar Dane Cook's standup act. The pair also dated back in the day, and Dane's one of the ex-boyfriends Jess talked about evidently still being on good terms with in Allure. There are rumors, though, that Jess isn't too happy with another former flame, John Mayer, after he talked about their sex life, among other things, in Playboy. Jessica is just getting started with promotion for her new series The Price of Beauty, and she might take the chance to get some revenge if she's asked the right question about her relationship with John.

happily with Romo? He dumped her ass on her birthday. That ain't happy. lol Every man is happier after her...she has the issues, not the guys. *The only thing that would cause me to pause from dating John is the loud mouth people that talk ish about him. It hurts the family and that isn't fair. So what makes the critic so much better than John speaking his mind...who in fact is not criticizing a damn soul?
I agree with you, #17. I think if Jess were ever upset about John's comment, it is only because he talked sex with her and talked love with Jen. However, I don't think (coz she already moved on happily with Romo) and I think she should not get upset with his BS comment coz he's simply a BS. Whatever comes out of a BS's mouth, it's not worth it to listen to. I also have a feeling that Mayer does have mental problems. He's an low self-esteem and self-inferior kind of guy. He seriously needs attentions coz he grew up without getting any especially from girls. So so far, he's been trying too hard to portray himself as a player (with many women got hurted by him) just to satisfy his own self-inferior as being a loser without having a girl like him when he was younger. Even now, without fame and $$$, would there be any stupid girl out there willing to date him? I don't think so...
Unfortunately the comments John made about Jessica had every thing to do with how she looks and not any thing to do with her as a person. He just wanted to have sex with her. He would have paid her, like a hooker to do it too. Not exactly a compliment. What really has Jess upset is the remarks he made about Jennifer. He loved her. He respected her. And they communicated and shared intimate things. Jessica was just a sex doll willing to do what ever John wanted in a desperate effort to keep him. Sad and stupid at the same time.

I heard....John only 'dated' her because he met a woman who looked sorta like her but was in fact a brunette {who was also splitting w/ her husband in '05}. Kinda like Justin's dating a woman who he thinks looks like that same woman...only...she doesn't.
