Jessica Simpson Officially Makes Herself Country

Jessica Simpson showed off sexy hair but tried a bit too hard with the outfit performing at the California State Fair in Sacramento last night. Jessica's plaid and turquoise help her country look, but now she's made her entrance into the genre official by joining the Country Music Association and adding more credibility to her new sound. Country may have helped Jess pull out of a tough place, but it has also gotten her back on stage like it's the first time with her state fair tour. The next big hurdle for Jess will be when the album actually hits stores in a few short weeks on Sept. 9.

So people don't like her and you do, who cares? It's their right not to. They're wrong of course, but it's still their right to be wrong. :ROTFL: Dang I crack myself up. I think she looks great, and misfit, watch country music TV. Yes, the stars when they are performing do in fact dress "country" more than just a hat. They don't ALL do it ALL the time, but they do on a regular basis. However, for most of them it's because it's not just their genre of music, it's because that's how they live. Most country performers own farms with cattle and horses, "country" is a way of life for them, so the look comes very easy. It's what they wear every day. Jess is struggling with the look because it's new to her. She hasn't dressed country since she left Texas. Now she's trying to get back. She's got a stylist, but I think sometimes she ignores the stylist and goes with her own "likes". Who cares if people like it? Jess likes it, she's comfortable in in, and that's what matters.

I think we only care about spelling when people comment in an attacking manner. gg916 and sonia917 like Jessica Simpson and are upset that the majority of the comments on this post are negative. They also misread and thought I said Jessica had been booed at the concert they had seen. They called me a liar and it was uncalled for. For the most part discussions on Popsugar rarely take an ugly turn because people usually express their disagreement diplomatically. Gg916 and sonia917 chose to come in swinging and that is why spelling errors in their posts are being brought up.

No, ImSmarterThanYou, in the context in which gg916 used the word "caddy," she probably did mean "catty." It's a widely heard and used term for someone who's malicious and spiteful. A "cad" is generally a man who treats women with disrespect and dishonor, and there isn't even a dictionary definition for "caddy" that comes close to what you described it as meaning. A "caddy" is something you use to store stuff in, or a boy who carries your golf stuff around for you. :shrug: Sorry for the long-ass lecture, but I think kastarte2's right.
