Jessica Simpson looked holiday-season ready leaving the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Manhattan to head over and film her new Macy's Christmas ad today. The singer is getting into the dress-making business and totally looked the part, strutting her stuff and steaming up the city as usual. While we'll be waiting for it to get a little cooler out before we see this commercial, there will be a lot more of red hot Jess in her favorite short shorts as she tours around performing at fairs this August.

Her hair always looks amazing. I love the Macy's ads!! Haha I'm excited. Well I also love Christmas :). I agree that she shouldn't be wearing the rosary, though.

Wearing a rosary as an accessory is DISRESPECTFUL! As a Catholic I was raised to believe that a rosary was not to be used in that way. There are priests and nuns that wear them, but they're also wearing habits and leading congregations in prayer.

This look is only slightly better than the black dress. Too much hair, too much jewelry, wrong shoes. Get thee to a stylist (or to a different stylist).

I think Jessica was raised a baptist...As a Christian, I don't understand why people wear these as accessories either...my husband's Catholic and from what I know, you pray with the rosary...I also feel the same way Ozzie Osbourne wearing a regular cross...as if he believes Christ died for his sins...anywayz...she looks cute otherwise

Whoo, I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets offended by seeing people wear the rosary as an accessory. I'm Catholic, so I was taught that it was not a necklace it was to be used for praying. Considering Papa Joe used to be a preacher I'm surprised she wasn't informed on this or maybe only us Catholics are aware. But I do like her dress

She does have ugly toes and her shoes are always hideous. Too chunky!! She looks best in those aviator sunglasses though. They hide some of her face. Meow! Just don't like her.

I have to agree that Jessica is pretty clueless, so I would assume she thinks its just another regular necklace for her. She should not be wearing that rosary unless shes going to church. I bet she's not even religious. But I totally love the dress. I never like her pick of shoes, they're too chunky.

Though i think the dress is super cute, I'm absolutely disgusted but the fact that she is wearing a rosary as jewelry. I'm Catholic and I think it s terrible to take a religious symbol to use as an accessory. She is an idiot. I bet she has no clue what it even stands for.

Hate the whole look, dress makes her look boxy and chubby, rosary bad accessory item, none of her accesories even go together, shoes are TERRIBLE and sunglasses are cute but DO NOT GO with a dress. Blecch

I think she looks pretty. I dont know about the whole rosary thing though, back in HS I used to wear one to imitate the whole 80's Madonna thing. I didnt know then that it was disrespectful, but I was 16, this chick is grown and should maybe try to be a little more respectful.

i totally agree that girl is over-accessorized. i'm not catholic, but yeah it looks wierd and disrespectful for a supposed christian role-model. and hallelujah to the comments about her shoes. I HATE EVERY SINGLE PAIR OF HEELS this woman has ever put on her bony feet and i just don't know HOW ON EARTH she got a shoe line -- because she is a walking negative advertisement.
