As a phillies fan it stings that we lost, but I am so happy i dont have to sit through another game where theytalk A-Roid and his stupid hollywood girlfriend.

I was reared in Philly and live in NY. I saw, early on, that the Phils just didn't have it. The Yankees almost never have competition. Anyhoo, Kurt isn't Kate's biological dad. Wonder if she'll be in the parade 11/6 along with the wives. Loathe baseball wives.

The Yankees won't ever have enough competition until there's a salary cap in baseball, little k. If every team spent 200+ million per year on their players they'd all have as many titles as the Yankees!

It's true, the Phils just didn't have it. Ryan Howard (the NLCS MVP) and Cole Hamels (the 2008 World Series MVP) struggled throughout this series.

Cliff Lee kicked ass but he's not Superman - he couldn't pitch every game. And Utley and Werth held their own too.

At any rate, it was a good series, and the Phillies are REAL ballplayers, not a bunch of tabloid fixtures.

I'm so glad the Yankees won because of him. I'm Dominican and it bothers me all this hostility towards him. You could see he was so happy when they won. He even cried. The news was on in the background earlier talking about the Yankees when and they were saying "Did the win lead to a proposal for Kate Hudson?.." which first of all, was totally stupid. But is the guy divorced yet? I thought he and his wife just recently separated. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't follow news about him.

I never get why everyone thinks he is so hot. I think he is so ugly in every pic I see. And Kate Hudson dating him only seems to prove that. Look at the guys she has dated, and married, in the past.
