Kate and Lance Bring Their Love-Love to Tennis Camp

The morning after the exciting Wimbledon finale, Lance Armstrong, Kate Hudson, Luke, Isabelle, Grace and Ryder were off to tennis camp in LA. We've seen this loving couple hit the courts to show off their skills and, of course, affection, but this time it was the kids' turn to play. While most of you thought it was too soon for Kate and Lance to be meeting each other's kids, from the looks of it Lance's twin girls are warming up to Dad's newest girlfriend already.

rvd, that may be because the kids are around. But everyone is referring to their PAST PDA, not this one. Those two are practically attached at the tonsils any other time. LOL

Thanks everyone! And Chiquita, I'm very happy that it worked out for your sister, but sadly that usually isn't the case. You can let someone know you and your kids are a package deal though without having to bring the kids along. If they see you dealing with sitters, not able to go out on a moments notice, having to cancel dates because the kids are sick etc. then they learn pretty darn fast that the child is #1. And yeah, I didn't even THINK about the bond the kids are forming. That will be difficult too. Bad, bad idea all around.

I agree with Rosa and Mykie. I have experienced this situation firsthand, because my dad has had a few long-term relationships after my mom died seven years ago. Just a few weeks after he would get into a relationship with someone, he would introduce them to me and my sisters. I respect the fact that he wanted to emphasize that we were a part of his life and that we are a package deal (as chiquitita said), but I think its really complicated especially when the woman he is dating also has children (which all of them did) and then my dad and his girlfriend want to pretend like they are still two single 20 year olds. By that I mean that they would have a lot of PDA, like Kate and Lance, and they would often seem like they were in their own little world. It was not a very pleasant atmosphere for me, my sisters, and her children.

chiquitita: what you said may be truth when couples are more stable in creating a serious & lasting relationship. Looking at the "relationship" resume for both Katie and Lance I doubt that these two will make it past a year together. Therefore I TOTALLY agree with "mykie" Katie seems to have no morals...she is showing promiscuity at its best

They certainly seem to be moving at an ACCELERATED pace. I agree about the kids meeting, Mykie7. I'm most concerned about the kids growing attachment to each other. We can only hope this relationship works, because Lance's kids are obviously bonding with Ryder and vice versa.

awww - isn't that sweet that the families are bonding so nicely. i hope that they continue to have a great time together. it's always hard to date when you have kids - and you don't want them to get too attached. especially with being a celeb. if kate and lance were to split, their kids would still see the other person on tv.
