Kate Winslet looked smoking hot premiering one of her two Oscar buzz-earning movies, The Reader in NYC last night. While there was a slight delay due to projection issues, the screening went well and there was certainly nothing wrong with the stars' choice of attire. Despite last month's airbrushing controversy, Kate donned a daring Herve Leger dress alongside her costar Ralph Fiennes. While this movie has some Kate acting buzz, it's nothing compared to her reunion with Leo in Revolutionary Road. While she and DiCaprio have aged a bit, fans everywhere are swooning to see them on screen again. Kate has a few more premieres ahead of her, but it will be hard for her to top this hot little number for the rest of her red carpets.

Kate is a winning combination of brains and beauty. She has been looking ravishing lately. I don't know what she has been doing, but it is definitely working for her! Though I don't advocate tanning for obvious reasons, she does look terrific with some color to her.

wow she's looking really skinny there - it always amazes me how she's so comfortable with her curves - but in the pic on the right - i don't know - it just seems to me like she's a bit thinner than usual. i wonder if it's just the angle? in any event - i hope that her movie does well - she's always been one of my favorites.

I'm not a fan of Kate's blonde hair. It does nothing for her complexion. But other than that, she looks fantastic!

I agree with aquarius, I'm more excited about the Reader than about Revolutionary Road, basically because I love Ralph and DiCaprio doesn't do anything for me. Both Stephen Daldry and Sam Mendes are good directors with their ups and downs, so we'll see. Kate looks just fantastic, but I'm not loving the shoes.

A young female to aspire to. Very talented. The dress looks great but she looks too tanned and blonde(as mentioned above). And yeah I wish Ralph had more hair. I had a crush on him and David Duchovny growing up. Luckily David kept his hair and still fancy him-shallow moi?!?!

Wow look at that hourglass figure people! Why don't most actresses realize that this is what most people find attractive? Instead you see them starving themselves to fit into couture size 0 clothes and botoxing their faces to death (like Nicole Kidman). Oh and Kate got that tan because she just got back from a vacation with her family. She wanted a nice break she said before she has to begin promoting both those buzzed about films she has out. And popsugar you may think Revolutionary Road is the better film but the Reader trailer looks much better than the Revolutionary Road one! Kate is going to be our new acting queen now that people are sick of botox faced Nicole Kidman.

I think it's the combination of the tan and the light blonde hair. I dunno--I'm not used to seeing her like that, and I don't think I like it.
