Katie and Suri Are American Girls Bound For Australia

Katie Holmes's scarf matched Suri's dress as they spent Friday shopping at American Girl Place in LA. On Sunday, Katie was spotted on her way into CBS Studio where they film So You Think You Can Dance — which only fuels rumors that she's slated to perform on the show. Her appearance would have to happen soon, however, since the Cruise family is already setting up luxurious accommodations for their time in Australia when Katie gets to work on her new movie.

Katie Holmes has acknowledged in her own words that her movie career was a string of bombs. 'Batman' should have been her big break but her reviews weren't exactly stellar. So she hooked her star to Tom's instead. Katie was never close to A-list (before Tommy Boy, that is) and certainly no fashion darling. I wouldn't even consider her A-list in the traditional sense right now today because she is not a name that appears on any short list when looking for a female lead to open a movie (like Reese, Julia, Nicole, Angelina et al) or earn the big figure salary. The only way Katie Holmes has any A-list status is as a tabloid favorite who married well (by Hollyweird standards).

Blackhole#12 seems to think Katie was A-list before hooking up with Tom. Ummm. No, honey. Her fame blew up after marrying that creep. And she was no fashion darling either. Katie didn't wear couture or much designer duds before hooking up with Tom. She may have been a down to earth indy darling at one point (which I wish she still was) but that was many moons and scientology classes ago!

Quite the adorable mommy and baby! Im ticked off though how the paparazzis are getting away with Katie and Suri. I saw again on youtube videos with these pics taken and its awful how close and scary they are with this two. I thought Calif. enforced a law how many inches photogs are allowed snapping pictures at stars.

I dont believe the rumors till we see it but I think Nigel would have beg her. She always does things for fun but also out of loyalty and friendship. It seems kind of weird to me that she would do that show. Granted, she's most famous because of her marriage, but even so, it's A-list famous. But I guess movies haven't worked out too well for her recently and she needs something to do. For some reason whenever I see her involved in any activity I think "Tom wants her to have an activity."

Wow, Katie looks great! She's put some weight on but in a good way. She no longer looks gaunt and skeleton-like, but now she looks muscley and fit! Definitely a good role model for Suri.
