Both of them look adorable. SO cute when she clings to her mommy like that. And I wish I could wear shorts like Katie's. Love that cuffed t-shirt too.

does anyone think suri cruise might be autistic?

whenever you see her, she looks very uncomfortable and is having sensory overload. She always looks very frustrated. always. Other celeb babies like Shiloh, Zahara, etc do not get so overwhelmed and frustrated in public, even with the paps.

Also, I have never seen a picture of Suri interacting/playing with another child.

Additionally, i have read an interview where Katie Holmes said Suri refuses to wear pants or long sleeved shirts. I know that autistic children are often very particular about their clothing. This could be innocent enough, but combined with her other behaviors it makes me wonder.

what do you guys think?

I agree with you. suri always has her hands over ears and rarely smiles. I think something is a little off.
I'm not being mean. I think she is adorable, but I just think she may be autistic

I don't know if it's possible to diagnose that sort of thing from photos but what I can tell from photos is that her dimwit attention-seeking parents keep placing this toddler in these situations where she is obviously frightened and upset.

When I hear Tom boasting that the parazzi take such "amazing" photos of Suri and I think of all the times I've seen her looking traumatized...it really kind of sickens me. (Especially since so many of the photo ops are staged by TomKat's PR people.) The other celebrities who have sheltered their children from this kind of attention do so with very good reason.

On the flip side I think Suri is isolated from other children purposely by her parents. Tom Cruise may love media attention but he is obsessed with security issues to the point of paranoia (which is why the constant armed bodyguards and tricked-out SUVs with covered windows and all that). Too bad we never got the gory details of his "surveillance" of Nicole in that recent wire-tapping Hollywood trial of his former hired PI.

Basically this poor kid has no chance of a normal life.

Precious mom and daughter. The more this nasty conspiracies like autism,robot etc it only backfires blessings to this family which is happening.

Maybe the 'looking uncomfortable and having sensory overload' has something to do with the fact that every time she steps out the door, there are 100s of photographers shouting at her and her mom and snapping flashes in her face! I think it's ridiculous that they don't do more to protect Suri.

really to even think that she has autism because she doesn't smile at the camera is crazy...she's 3,most 3 years old are picky about something it can either be clothes or toys,so what she does is normal,and for the times i've seen her put her hands to her ears where on american idol(which is normal,with the loud music),before one of their goings in the helicopter(the noise will be loud to anyone)and she does interact with people,something that autistic kids don't do.
Mele you mentionned zahara,i've never seen her smile for cameras,or any such things,or shiloh for that matter....

Ive seen fans and photogs crazy for celebs but they are intensely crazy for Katie,Tom and Suri. They showed this on ABC Dateline because they claim Suri's shot is worth a lot of money. To sample this scary situations in youtube type in Photogs scramble to shoot Katie Holmes or Katie Holmes at Joans and you see how dangerous fans and photogs treat them. The photogs even get hurt themselves and last time at the restaurant parking lot the photogs almost hurt the mom of Tom and mom of Katie. The photogs scream like animals and the people stoop just as low as these paparazzis. No wonder Suri is soooo scared.

not autistic. remember suri at disney world? she rocked the princess costume and loved the characters. that's all make believe stuff. i think she's probably a bit spoiled and my have a high maintenance personality.

don't care for this family, but i have a daughter with autism and can usually spot the signs early on, never got the autiam vibe from suri.

my guess is suri is just scared of all the paps. what i don't get is why katie is toting her around all the time...if its THAT bad, can't you leave her @ home for the day with a nanny?? i dont have kids, but damn, i would not want them exposed to that EVERY day....we see new pics almost daily. i think the fact that she's never shown w/ other kids is the result of her parents (or Tom)....we rarely see Katie out w/ anyone other than Suri either...

i love that it looks like katie is growing her hair out again. i really miss her with longer locks and her outfit is SO CUTE! i wish that i could look that good in those type of shorts..but i don't have her non-existent thighs.
