Kirsten Spends Her Saturday Strolling With a Special Someone

Kirsten Dunst was in the Silverlake neighborhood of LA on Saturday grabbing coffee with a guy friend. She's spent the last few weeks resting up and doing yoga in California as she gets ready for the release of All Good Things in early March. Her costar in the film, Ryan Gosling, is bound for the Sundance Film Festival to support another one of his movies — we'll be covering things straight from Utah as he promotes and premieres Blue Valentine.

I am Kathie Durst's brother Jim. Kirsten Dunst, who plays my sister Kathie in the movie "All Good Things", visited my home about 2 years ago in preparation for the film. I found her to be so down to earth and truly professional in her efforts to do justice to my sister's memory. Kathie was only 19 when she met Bob Durst and was literally swept off her feet by his (then) charm. They were truly in love at first but, as the movie shows, that love faded as the darker side of Bob came out of his closet. I was recently given a private screening of the movie and Kirsten captured Kathie's decomposition from love-to-disenchantment with Bob over a 9 1/2 year marriage. Sadly, Kathie 'disappeared' on January 31, 1982 and our family continues to suffer the loss of a once promising young women who was only a few months from graduating from medical school in 1982. Please support the movie and applaud Kirsten for her portrayal of Kathie.
