Kristen Stewart is finally showing off her full Joan Jett hairdo for The Runaways! After a few days of hiding it underneath hoodies or in ponytails, Kristen Stewart debuted her dramatic new look as she arrived at the studio today. Across the country, Robert was keeping his familiar hair hidden too with his cute hats. Kristen looked every bit the rock star right down to her t-shirt, which she knotted up in her new trademark style. So what do you think of Kristen's new look — into it or missing Bella's Twilight locks already?

i think she looks great , i mean i wouldn't mind seeing her look like this all the time. in fact i'd love to see her like this all the time. but one thing i have to say is knotting her t'shirts is not her trademark , i've been knotting my shirts sense i was a little girl before i discovered who she was, it was just a thing i did when i was hot, or just wanted my belly to show, lol i was very fast.
I love it :) i really do, yeah her hairstyle was really cool as Bella, but i think this makes her look more grown up :D xx

Just leave her alone! It looks great on her and she IS dedicated to her role if she cuts it dramatically! I personally think it looks great and it is EXACTLY the way Joan Jett's was. I've seen little clips of the movie filming and Kristen is doing great!

As long as she pulls off the role, I don't care how crappy ppl. think she looks! I think she looks as good as she did-however, I don't think of that hair style as a mullet either, lol - I think of mullets as the really short on the side, long in the back deal-The Runaways were pre-mullet anyway. So, for a lot of us whose lyrics and sound The Runaways have impacted, this film is waay important. She has a lot to deal with! I'm no fanatic of anyone's but Joan Jett deserves her dues, and she does kick it hard musically! So, I think the greater issue is, will KS get Joans....I dunno, charisma-whatever that thing she has is, and be able to capture it on film?? Hoping so! Meanwhile, back @ the ranch-wondering how Dakota Fanning is faring as Cherie Currie -perhaps not a commercially large US personality to capture, but the interaction between the 2 characters is going to be important... Haven't you heard???
She looks horrible. Personally, I think she looks better with long hair. She was way prettier. But if she likes it then thats okay with her.

I'm not a Twilight fan and had no idea who Kristen Stewart was until I saw her on TV the other day with Robert Pattinson. I thought, "Is she trying to look like Joan Jett?" and decided to Google it to see if anyone else thought the same thing. I had NO idea she was supposed to play Jett in a movie. I'm going to give her a little more attention now, as I was a Jett fan back in the day.
I give her props for being so into character, I think the new film is gonna be great. But Im thankful that hair GROWS, That's all im saying. If she wanted to go a little punk, She should have gone for a scene-ish hairstyle later, But for joan Jett its great, Just please after the movie, DONT keep this hair style [[:

I'm speechless of how idiotic many of you people are. Obviously, it's a wig. My God, grow some brains. That's exactly like Joan Jett's hairstyle, except maybe...well, it looks horrid on her. I could not imagine someone so...em...passive? (if that's the right word) as Kirsten playing Joan, nor being able to carry her utterly tomboy style off as not trying too hard. I really, really hope they don't exclude Joan's sexual orientation...that would suck, not to mention piss the fuck off of hardcore Joan fans.
I like this way more than her hair before. :D Actually, I have the same cut myself (: only it's light brown with red/purple streaks. That's gonna be a great movie and I'm glad they're doing it right.. I don't care who plays Joan (I don't even like Twilight!) but I can't wait to see the movie about her :D
Sure she looks the part of Joan but...her hair! Its nice don't get me wrong, its just weird seeing someone who had such beautiful hair chop it off and dye it. But then again I guess thats Hollywood.
