Leighton Goes Back to California and Blonde!

Leighton Meester lightened up for Summer and was spotted out with blonde hair in LA yesterday. The sunny locks are actually Leighton's usual color which almost kept her from landing the part of Blair on Gossip Girl. The actress is staying busy on her break from the show — she recently landed a record deal to release an album and is currently shooting Date Night alongside Tina Fey and Steve Carell. Those are some big comedic chops to act alongside, but we expect nothing less from the Queen B herself.

Pop says blonde is her "usual" color... I did not take that to mean her "natural" color. Hrm... I guess if that is the natural color I can understand it.
