Someone who's worked with Madonna said she is an absolute monster. Not a diva a la JLo, or a control freak like Barbra Streisand - but a truly awful person. Self-important, rude, obnoxious, condescending, and just bad to people. I usually take these things with a grain of salt, but this is not at all hard to believe. She seems like a frightening person to be around.

Madonna's just upset she didn't get her way for once in her life. If she really loved the child she could set up an 18 month residency in Malawi to qualify for adoption.

here's the question though - Mercy is 3 years old and the father is just coming out of the woodwork now? i'm not sure what the motivation there is....it's always good for the child to be with their biological parents if that's something that's good for everyone, but it seems like he didn't even know that his child was alive - that can't be good.

i'm sure that if this situation doesn't work out then madonna will figure something else out...

Rather than wallow in self pity because she her efforts to snatch another baby from Malawi have been slowed down, why doesn't she do something useful? Maybe volunteer her time or name to help Italian earthquake victims, or one of a billion other good causes.

"snatch a baby"? that child would be WAY better off with madonna than she is in an orphanage. she has a grandmother who wants to support her "at some point" in the future, a dad who didn't even know she was alive? please, how much effort did either of these people put forth for mercy before it became public that mercy was going to be adopted. they want MONEY. sickening.

before people talk sh*t about Mercys father i think you should realize that things are different in other parts of the world.i doubt he could just pop online and do a google search to see how his daughter was doing and it sounds like the mothers family did not like him and when she passed away had let him think Mercy had as well.he didnt say he wanted money or anything ,he sounds like a person whos excited to discover his child is alive when he had thought she was dead. do you think orphanages in africa have facebook pages? how was he to know?
i think something good has come out of madonna trying to adopt this child.she has found her father and can know grow up in her homeland with her culture and family.isnt that what everyone wants? well besides madonna who just wanted a trophy to sit in between her grammy awards.

Nothing good has come out of this. Those who b*tch and complain about this didn't even know where Malawi was or even heard of Malawi before she adopted David.
What's wrong with her wanting to give a chance to this child. Her father abandoned her before and will probably do it again. Most African countries do not have law that force fathers to take care of their children or pay child support. So they can just disappear and one day show up and say i didn't know my child was alive.
That's a lame excuse, how could he not know?

Mercy's mother's relatives even agree that he didn't know Mercy was alive. They still hold a grudge and would rather hand her off to Madonna than let the father have a chance, which is pretty messed up. They are the ones who sent to the orphanage in the first place.

She KNOW the child wasn't an orphan, just like she knew David wasnt an orphan. She just figures she has more money and these people don't matter. She promised david's father he could stay in touch with his son, and she didn't get in touch with him. He FINALLY got to see his son, because it worked out with Madge's schedule to get some good PR after she ruined ARod's marriage and ran around with a 22 year old...off she went to Malawi to play 'caring'. So when David's father finally got to see his son, the boy ASKED HIM WHO HE WAS!!! If that doesn't make you want to find Madge and throw some perrier on her I don't know what would. Evidently she wants the cutest children and doesn't care if they have families. In Africa, they use Orphanages like community homes, when a family cannot take care of it's own, they place them there in hopes that someone from the community will take them in, or at some point they can take them back when they have the money.
That pop star is the lowest of the low. Isn't that what Guy Ritchie said? Wonder how she got him to give that nice statement, maybe offered him more time with his son Rocco for it. Just sick, all of it. I would not release another child to the custody of this woman, if you can call her that. How do you think Madonna found out about it and decided to become it's patron saint.
If the people of Malawi saw Madonna's sex book, or half of what she has done to bring
shame to herself and her family, they would be running her out of their country, money
or not. MONEY is not worth everything. Madonna fans seem to believe that money
is the answer. Life with Madonna is DYSFUNCTIONAL, that's why all her help LEAVES.
The money doesn't even matter, plus, they say she isn't worth the money she pays!
