Ashton Kutcher Gives Mischa Barton a Beautiful Life

Mischa Barton smoked a cigarette before dressing up for dinner with a friend in LA on Wednesday. It was a celebratory moment since Mischa has some big news: she's starring in a new pilot for the CW called The Beautiful Life. Ashton Kutcher is one of the producers of the show, which is about models in NYC. Mischa described her new role as "a bitchy model-type character, like it's a totally different character for me." There were rumors that she was joining the Melrose Place remake, but an original series sounds like a promising idea.

She hasn't played a bitchy model character, she's always had to play skinny girls obviously but I don't remember any of them being bitchy. I kind of want her to succeed, I don't know when/ why people started to despise her.

wasn't there a show a couple years ago called beautiful girls? that one didn't do too well - but then again it was only about one girl that wanted to be a model - along with her family just living it up in NYC. sort of.anyway, i guess that it's good that mischa has a new job - it's been a while

no ashton! why? WHY? i thought she was slowly starting to fade into obscurity. i've hated this minger since she did that interview complaining about "how hard it is to be beautiful" -- i wanted to back hand her and say "YOU'RE NOT ATTRACTIVE... AT ALL!" ahhhhhhh
