Mischa Barton didn't take that Herve Leger dress home after the boutique opening. Instead, she hit the clubs with friends for drinks, a little dancing, and the smoking of a mysterious rolled substance (wink) with her friends. She talked about how much she loves being single and it sure looks like she's not holding anything back. This isn't the first or second time we've seen Mischa engaging in this particular form of relaxation, but then again, it could always be a rolled cigarette, right?

Morgs, there are lots of reasons why Turkey are still not in the EU, and in relation to the EU as a whole, as you said, really their legislative control only comes into play in very specific areas. Politically, as well as culturally, there are still huge differences between the various countries in the EU, hence the difficulties with the Lisbon Treaty. In any case, it was mostly with regard to drug use and attitudes to drugs that I felt you were generalising. I just don't think you can use a phrase like "the way we treat cannabis in Western Europe" because I could get on a plane tonight and go and smoke my brains out in Amsterdam, but if I went into my local café and did the same thing at best I'd be kicked out and at worst I'd be arrested. It's not treated as a misdemeanor here and I'm sure we're not the only Eurpoean country where that's the case.

Marijuana is legal in California. That is if you have a medical marijuana card. If you have any number of problems, from chronic headaches, loss of appetite, or even insomnia, you can get a prescription.From the looks of the container she has the marijuana in, she got it from a completely legal club. So I don't see a problem with what she's smoking.

Everything in moderation :)I have serious hips too, and I hate always being stuck in A- line dresses because they're more flattering- I want to wear stretchy ones too! I'm glad she's repping pear- shaped women.

I love Herve Leger dresses. They are so feminine and sexy at the same time. Mischa Barton doesn't seem like the type to wear this dress...disappointed.

She punched a girl who was shouting rude words to her constantly on the street and people laugh about it without saying oh..Lily is a bad child, she's out of control and all that. Kiki I hear you but I also hear Morgs! Oh well..I went to American uni but live in Europe. Both of you are right. Back to miss OC, to me she comes across as very laid back which most European actors are. They don't care if they're being photographed with ciggies, they talk about politics a lot (however Mischa doesn't do this I guess because she's young), they get drunk in public and they show go out looking rough in the morning to get breakfast. Mischa does all that..she doesn't give a shit about her image a lot of the time. I can't imagine Ann Hathaway doing the same thing or Natalie Portman for that matter

Kiki, it is no generalization. Culturally there are differences. I never said there wasn't. However politically, the differences are very few and far between. Think of our governments as structured somewhat similaryl to the US's. You have a lot of small states that make their own decisions in some areas, but where major things are concerned, there is one governing body that standardizes important laws. This is why the European Community was founded in the 50s (yes, it's true. It goes back that far, but was under a different name). And, in order for new countries to be eligible, they must change crucial laws to be on par with the EU. For instance, Turkey is still ineligible because they still have the death penalty (something we haven't had in europe in a very long time).

I really don't care what she does with her life, I actually met her once and not only is she very nice, but she is even more beautiful in person than on TV (I mean, seriosuly more pretty - what do they do on TV that makes them look uglier?), but what I hate about her is that she's a terrible actress. she has finally stopped getting work (thank God), but everyone is still obcessed with her - who cares?! I don't see how anybody can say that she has more talent than Kiera Knightley. while I find her stupid and annoying, she is a very good actress. all mischa is is a pretty face, and really she should use that and be a model. now, about that dress (droollllll), gorgeous, but it looks awful on her...
