Natalie Portman in brilliant blue stole the spotlight last night at a screening of Brothers in NYC. One of her two leading men, Tobey Maguire, joined her on the red carpet along with his wife Jennifer Meyer, though Jake Gyllenhaal missed the event. Amanda Peet was right by her husband David Benioff's side, supporting his latest screenwriting effort. Natalie was caught up in New Moon mania last week, but yesterday was all about her own upcoming project — check out the moving trailer before its release on December 4.

Jennifer Meyer looks great here! And she just popped out a kid 4 months ago! Wow!
And Natalie ALWAYS looks flawless!
1Love Amanda, she's so cute
2What a great night for shoes! I like Amanda but in that outfit she looks like she was going somewhere different then everyone else.
3Maguire's wife looks very pretty.
4Portman's dress borders on slutty. Wadding her hair up on her head with a few ruffles in the dress barely saves her.
Peet looks ridiculous.
what a bunch of ugly people.
5Natalie looks gorgeous as always!
6I don't normally like blue dresses, but she looks beautiful.
7The movie looks like it would be quite good, except for casting Natalie Portman as a mother of two school-age children!! Perhaps Amanda Peet would have been a better choice. I just can't imagine Nat being a mother. Plus, she looks so much younger than Jake and Tobey.
8Natalie looks awesome!!!
9Just saw this movie and LOVED it! Tobey was so freakishly amazing in the movie...totally didn't think he could pull of the traumatized soldier act, but he was spectacular. Totally oscar nom worthy.
10it was a really strong movie. Natalie did especially well as a young mom. i think she's actually in the running for an Oscar for supporting actress. hope she wins, she deserves it!!
