Paris Explores the Best of What Dubai Has to Offer

Paris Hilton piled on the bling yesterday to film the new version of her BFF finding show in Dubai. She's been making the most of her time overseas, familiarizing herself with the area by riding camels and even skiing indoors. There were stories that Paris had gotten in trouble with local authorities for traipsing around in a bikini, but she assured her many Twitter followers that all is fine legally as she continues to work on her upcoming series.

You can wear a bikini in Dubai! But it DEPENDS where you wear it! In a mall, definitely not! Before you walk into any mall in Dubai, there are rules to follow on your attire!! Traipsing around in a bikini anywhere in the world should not be allowed!!!! Dubai is a beautiful Country! I did enjoy the Huge Malls =)

Women are allowed to wear bikinis in Dubai... I see them in the beaches and pool. Paris responded her getting in trouble by "FAULSE" in her twitter page ... I am from Dubai. We weren't mad at her for wearing a bikini LOL what the hell is wrong with the oversea media?

Awful of her to go to Dubai, a country run on slavery (the workers who are duped into coming to Dubai are paid a token to make it seem like it is not slavery, but their passports are confiscated so that they cannot leave). Disgusting!

Dubai is pretty lenient about bikinis. You can wear them in their designated places (beaches, pools) just don't prance around malls in them. They are VERY casual about your attire, I remember growing up in short shorts and tank tops and halters and sundresses with out any problem. Grown women wear the same out there. Just don't do anything "scandalous" or walk around the streets in jeans and a bikini top.

Hahah now we get to see her cause scandal in Dubai, too? Should be great fun. How long will it take before they all get kicked out of the country? The current version of Paris Hilton’s My New BFF is like a trainwreck waiting to happen and I can’t look away. Seriously, i always watch it because its so funny. Anyone else think the whole grocery shopping ordeal in episode 4 was hilarious? I can’t believe none of the girls realized that you had to gut the duck or knew that they had bought a frozen one. Also I loved the song they used, called “Piggy Bank” by Jet Stream. I thought it was funny and ironic to hear the lines “money make the world go round” and “the world is my supermarket, filled with shopping carts” while these girls are all shopping for Paris Hilton’s dinner haha.
