Penelope Attends the SAGs For Nine but Looks Like a 10

Penelope Cruz went with a black L'Wren Scott dress for the carpet at tonight's SAG Awards — weigh in on her look and all the others with Bella and Fab's love it or hate it polls! Penelope's nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for her work in Nine, and she's out tonight with her costars Kate Hudson, Marion Cotillard, and Sophia Loren. Kate provided quite a contrast to Penelope in a white gown, which turned more than a few heads with its low back.

True Princess, it should be knee length. However, black looks GREAT on brunettes and blondes alike. Penelope looks fab!

I completely disagree, black looks good on EVERYONE. On this particular number, however, the awkward length is a problem for me.

Sort of agree with fleurfairy. Too much black does not look good on people with dark hair and dark eyes (see Lea Michele's overpowering dress at the GG, I could not believe how many people liked it). Having said that, with those highlights Penelope is sporting it could have worked, but for some reason that special kind of brown in her hair and that shiny, black dress do not go together well. Additionally, her legs are too short to wear a dress of that length and just overall, that dress is seriously meh.
