The Simpson clan was together in NYC last night to cheer on Ashlee during her Broadway debut in Chicago. Pete Wentz and Jessica Simpson flashed smiles on their way into the theater, where Ashlee took the stage in her black leotard and accepted roses following the performance. Ashlee in all black joined Pete and a minidress-wearing Jessica at the afterparty, as did the girls' father, Joe. Jessica went on Twitter to express how proud she is of Ashlee, while Joe was focused on more personal matters. He opened up at the bash about Jessica's rough year, saying to her would-be boyfriends that, "You could never ask for a more loving woman and honest woman. That's all you got."

11All of them are really talentless and need to fade into obscurity where they belong, but in the mean time, Jessica really needs to learn how to dress for her body type, or hire someone who understands that concept.
