Gwen and Gavin Still Waiting For Baby No. 2

If Gwen Stefani's pregnancy seems interminable, imagine what it's like for the singer who kept a big beautiful smile on her face on the way into the doctor's office in LA with Gavin yesterday afternoon. Gwen looked ready to pop and in great spirits with her husband holding her hand, but little Kingston sat this one out. Gav's been taking care of their energetic youngster with checking out sporting goods and farmers markets while mom takes it easy, but the wait can't be too much longer before the new addition is here.

Goodness! I thought she was about to pop that time when Alba and Camilla gave birth.. I'm with you, I can't believe she's still pregnant! I can just imagine the stress, that big bump must be really heavy

Dublin, I have to disagree whole heartedly. Women have ALWAYS had vaginal deliveries. Selective c-sections are a relatively new things and most ob's won't perform them as they are much riskier deliveries.

Most celebrities have c-sections to suit their schedules. I'm sure there are a handful of them who do it for health reason which, IMO, is the only reason to justify a c-section. She needs to give birth already. Poor Gwen.

On a sidenote: Can you believe that Gwen will be turning 39 this year? She looks SO young to me, like she is at least 10 years younger. asarwan - :rotfl: Yeah, she's just like Bonnie lol. Dixie Sugar - Angelina and Gwen WERE due around the same time. Angelina just gave birth a month early because twins are usually born weeks and weeks ahead of their due dates.

Just looking at her makes me have to pee. Her bladder is probably screaming for a reprieve. I get the baby girl vibe from her too. To the other poster who claims celebrities get c-sections to avoid stretch marks... I believe they do it more to preserve their pelvic floor. The fascia and ligaments down below don't always recover or snap back like they are supposed to. Women often suffer from rectocele, cystocele, perineum problems or stress incontinence as the result of a vaginal birth, especially from a large baby or long complicated labor. Honestly, I cannnot much blame them for going the c-section route.

i always feel bad for celebs that are preggo for so long. there were a few in the past that felt like it was 10 months rather than the usual (yes i know that drs technically say it's 10 months anyway) . i hope that she has the baby soon and that we get to see the new addition to the family.

I thought Gwen was due about the same time as Angie...whew...she must be ready for that second little boy. He must be one that likes to take his time.
