I'm a huge fan of The Daily Show and was surprised to read that the guest was Robert Pattinson. But, then remembering he has a new movie out - connected the dots. I'm one of those fans of Pattinson's that appreciates his work thus far and hopes that the Twilight series is a jumping off point. I hope that the fan/media craze will not drive him mad and he will move forward and be a very fruitful actor! Seeing the fans - in a way makes me cringe a bit - how overwhelming and tiresome that might become. Plus, I was a little surprise to hear Stewart ask the same question I imagine Pattinson gets EVERYWHERE: "do you get tired of all the fans ...." blah, blah, blah..... I was hoping Stewart would ask some more original questions and bring Pattinson something new and original to the interview. Next he would have been asking about his girlfriend status. Disappointment in Stewart - missed opportunity to say I'm not going to be like the other media (which seems to be what he prides himself on) and jump out of the box. Instead he asked him whether he picked up the guitar & piano as a way to further "get laid". I'm sure Pattinson knows he's handsome but would probably like to be viewed as more than just a Twilight star and sex symbol. Just a thought.
