Robert Pattinson Has Had His Fill of Aggressive NYC Women

Robert Pattinson was back on set of Remember Me in NYC today after the long holiday weekend. Robert has been hard at work so far this Summer, but apparently his time in Manhattan has been causing the actor some stress. He's allegedly put off by all the fan attention, especially the overly aggressive women who are grabbing at him wherever he goes. Actors often like Manhattan since people seem to care less about celebrity, but I guess that's not the case when you're the biggest heartthrob of the Summer. Apparently he is eager to finish up and get out of the city — perhaps since all the screaming ladies invading his personal space have him yearning for time with someone a little more comfortable.

Poor Rob:(Of course he can't help it if he's hot,but the firls could be a little less pysotic about it all.Give him a break.Maybe all this might be to much for him and he quits his acting career and moves back to London,and TRIES to live a normal life.Would you want that?If you love him enough you'll calm down and give him some space.Jeez.I love him to but I don't try to grab his clothes and invade his personal bubble, and neither should you.

dear rob you are in my prayers each and every night. stay safe, be happy. i miss your beautiful smile. your eyes are so sad and you look tired. dont let the fame ruin your life. you are too beautiful inside and out. do what makes you happy even if it means you going home. i know i for one will miss your great talent but i also will be happy that you are safe and unstressed. god bless you.

Leave the poor guy alone!!!! He is doing great, he cannot look perfect every time. He is a very handsome man, and he has dealt very well with those crazy fans and his new fame. He is adorable!! Love him!!

For all of you fans that has stated that he has excepted the stardom needs to get a grip. Just because he wants to act dosen't mean that he want to be flatten by stupid fans. I do understand that with stardom comes fans and that if it wasn't for the fans celebrties wouldn't be where they are today, but please. we must all understand that he is only human and needs his personal space. Fans must think about the stress it could put on a person not only celebrities but everyone. I for one do not want him to end up on "DRUGS" to help him escape realility like most celebs do. So let's plaese not cause his death or his drug use or abuse.

I luv a good "Secret Source" or the best ones are "I am a personal friend of Rob's" and then they post on gossip websites GREAT FRIEND, this is my second posting but I just thought I would ease all the panic and tell you I actually discovered that the photo's above were taken with many more but they chose not to show the ones with him SMILING, Surprise Surprise. Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes are staying up the road from where I live does that mean I could be classified as a "close source". We went to the footy for his birthday, oops i forgot their was also 77,000 other people that tagged along. Sorry I am raving just a little bored.

I totally agree with #41(jvr) and #42 (Temptation). How anybody could know if he is depressed??? I do not believe it at all. I think people are looking too much into it. He looks just fine besides he cannot smile all the time. Rob has always been very appreciative of his fans and he loves what he does so I do not think there is a problem at all. Remember there is always this "secret source close to Rob" that tells everything to the press. I find that very strange!!! ALl lies!!! I love Rob!!!! He is wonderful!!!

I agree, how do they know he is depressed?? apparently he is still going out and drinking with friends and not curled up in a ball in his hotel room, he looks the same to me, as for the weight thing how can you tell if he has lost weight?? I think his loyal fans are reading too much into this, remember he is from England so he has pasty white skin which could account for his "pale features". The trouble is we get photo's on a daily basis so when one doesn't look right everyone panics. I love the Rob updates but perhaps it is time that they eased up on the photo's.

How do people know he is depressed??? Think about your day and are you always smiling...no you aren't. Your not thinking someone is going to take my picture I better look happy. Who sits around with a smile plastered all over the face??? Looks to me like the beginning of the media ripping him down!!!!

oh, robbie. i feel bad for him with all of the crazy madness. he's a shy, bashful man with great wit. he seems genuine through and through and i hope that he finds some time to rest out of the ever present paparazzi and public eye and spend time with his leading lady.

I feel a little sorry for him but that's the price of fame and fortune. He went looking for it- it didn't come looking for him. Don't audition for parts, go back to merry 'ol England and don't let the door hit ya on the ass on your way out! Then hopefully in 10 years people will be saying, Who's Robert Pattinson? The response, "Oh yeah he's that bald, fat dude that was in that vampire series Twilight." Has he done anything since? No.

I know I have posted already, but I just would like to say one more thing. Well, actually two. This poor guy is going through enough right now and then you have these haters that post nasty comments. Rob is human just like us. He deserves our respect not your nasty comments. Sorry, just had to say that. Sure, he is in the spotlight where ever he goes, but he also needs to be treated like a human being. I think if he decides to quit doing movies, it would be a great loss to us all. Rob, just know that your fans love you and we will be there to support you in whatever you decide to do. Sidenote-I think it's time for the people who are making Remember Me to close the sets off(someone mentioned that earlier and I agree). Also, they need to make sure that his hotel room is not disclosed to anyone other than his agent and the people making the film. Summit needs to ensure the safety and sanity of our beloved Rob. What they are letting happen to him should not be happening and it's in very poor taste on Summits part to let it continue. Wise up Summit or we are going to lose one of the best actors out there.

Everyone is commenting on how his privacy is invaded but the only pics we see of him are on the set????? I don't think I have ever seen a photo of Rob in NYC in a bar or club etc, yet in Vancouver there were photo's of him everywhere, so he is obviously getting some privacy or just staying in his hotel????

I remember reading an article and Rob said the worst thing about the "groupies" is that you are stuck helpless and someone could pull a knife out and stab you. I doubt very much if it will get better when he starts filming eclipse and I don't think it matters where he goes he is still going to get the same attention. He does look a little stressed but he is making a movie after all, come to Aussie Land Rob we will kick Tom and Katie out of the Penthouse and you can stay there.

Thanks Pop, I needed my fill of fugly-ass Robert Pattyson LOL. I don't blame him for being flummoxed by all the media attention. I don't get it either! I look at him and can't help but chuckle to myself. "Celebrities" nowadays, I guess anybody qualifies. Yuck!
