Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish laughed their way through a friend's barbecue arm-in-arm this weekend in LA. While their pre-Fourth of July cocktail doesn't look festive for the holiday, the smiles are a welcome sight after their first public event together. It's hard to admit that these two look cute together, but we have to wonder if Reese isn't the only one thinking about shacking up with a new love this Summer especially now that Ryan's got that huge gorgeous new home.

she doesn't LOOK better than Reese here, but overall she is more of a classic beauty and also younger looking. (Not many people could pull off no tan, straight hair with no style, and a very frumpy outfit all at once!) My theory is she's trying to look not so hot in order to not look like a temptress/home wrecker. She has been wearing a lot of drab stuff lately, and I think its all for PR~!The tunic would have been nice with tanner legs (im not hating im a whity too), and heeled cage sandals, Oh and better hair obvs~! Her face is always nice though :D

Don't like him, don't like her, and I never will. They're losers in my book. Say what you will about the affair has not been proven. I have formed my own opinion, and that opinion is that he cheated on Reese with this tramp. Yes, I said tramp. I say that because any woman that will accept the advances of a MARRIED MAN no matter if the marriage is on the rocks or not is a tramp. And if that MARRIED MAN has children, that ups the ante. There isn't anything either one of these two could do to change my mind about them. Now, that said, WTH people? Blob and Pink are more than entitled to say WHATEVER they want just like Strawberry or Leilani. The key here is IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DON'T READ IT. These are words to live by. Read them, know them, love them, make them your own mantra.

They look good/happy together even with the hippy chick outfit. Does anyone know if Abbie is waiting to do more scenes for Bright Star or if she is totally done? Her staying out of the sun and keeping the straight brown hair makes sense if she is waiting to be called back for reshoots (usually actors are on hold for a period of time after rap before they can cut their hair, get a tan or do anything to change their apperance). If not, she needs to go back to her blonde curly hair and get a tan stat.

I don't really like them as a couple (not a big fan of Ryan, even when he was with Reese) but I do like her outfit even though it looks too hot for summer.

i used to get upset about these 2 but it's been a while since the split and both reese and ryan seem to be ok with the way that things are going and their kids are well adjusted as far as we can see - so it's a win win....right?
