Freida Pinto and Dev Patel kept award season going as they arrived at the LA Film Critics Association Awards last night. Slumdog Millionaire continues to get recognized and Freida mentioned she's excited to return to India after an exhausting week. Sean Penn supposedly didn't attend the Golden Globes because Milk was snubbed, but he was happy to make an appearance this time to accept his Best Actor award on stage. Heath Ledger scored another win for Best Supporting Actor, which will probably be added to Matilda's collection in honor of her father. A few other celebs received honors yesterday, but maybe they were too tired after all of their partying to accept in person.

Isn't Sean Penn the person who didn't care about awards? He seems like such a self involved jerk. Good actor but horrible person.
1well that's just sean being sean ya know? he's been in the business for long enough and he knows his worth - so that's kind of something to be expected. oh well. it's his choice...
2As long as Sean Penn keeps making movies like "Milk," he can do whatever he wants. It's not his greatest quality, but he's got the talent to back it up.
