Carey is adorable and a wonderful actress. She's Oscar-bound next year and I think she can do better than Shia. I do not get the fuss with him at all!

its not a real relationship-they have to get comfy w/each other as actors cuz there characters are engaged to each other in the movie. don't feel sad #8 and #18, its only for the movie and as bdays goes,theyre actually not compatible in love-theyll say alot to,or probably AT each other w/out making a real connection sadly enough-they're compatible as friends but nothing more than that.

Just wanted to say that i think they make a lovely couple. You don't walk hand in hand with a friend from the opposite sex; so i feel they are together.

BTW - Carey maybe unknown now but her film An Education is getting alot of buzz and she is being predicted to get an Oscar nomination. So she is definitely an up and coming actress.

Time will tell if these two last because i assume Carey still lives in the UK, while Shia is based in Los Angeles. On set romances tend to fade and also long distance romances are difficult to maintain IMO.

Anyone who says Shia can do better is just jealous. Carey is gorgeous and an amazing actress. She was wonderful in Doctor Who as Sally Sparrow.

Who says you need to have a long resume to get considered for an Oscar ? You need to give a great performance in one particualr role and Carey did that in An education, she is a lock for a nomination.

Why is a Oscar so important ? Yeah~~~Morgan Freeman won the Oscar.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think a Oscar is important. I prefer a beautiful actress over the Oscar winner. Of course I prefer a talented and beautiful actress.
