Shia LaBeouf's Day Off Before DUI

Update: TMZ reports that Shia was arrested on suspicion of DUI late last night after making an illegal left hand turn in Hollywood, hitting another car and rolling his own. He was taken to the hospital where he will remain to get surgery on his hand.

Shia LaBeouf took advantage of his day off from working on Transformers 2 on Thursday to run a couple of errands. After a stop at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, he picked up lunch at Carney's before putting some gas in his truck — probably a slightly more expensive endeavor than filling up his motorcycle. Shia wasn't shy about showing his face to photographers on his outing, which is good news for us, since we love a little weekend manjoyment.

You know, the incident with the smoking and the public drunkenness, I could chalk those up to arrogant youth. They were bad, but in the grand scheme of things, not as horrible as most. I mean crap, he smoked in a bathroom. OMG KILL HIM. He got a bit disorderly outside a walgreens, yeah, okay, young kid shooting off his mouth after a couple of "courage" shots. Big deal, I thought it was just stupid youth. I even thought "Well, at least he's not drunk DRIVING, he's drunk TALKING and drunk WALKING, but he's not behind the wheel. Good for him." And now this. LOSER. Anyone that gets behind the wheel of a car after drinking is a L O S E R. No two ways about it. These celebrities have more than enough money to hire drivers, that there is no excuse for this type of behavior. Shape up Douche. You could have a great career if you pull your head out of your own A** long enough to see the forest for the trees.

Tsk tsk to my little man. That's terrible. I'm glad noone got seriously hurt. He's one of my favorite actors, but you KNOW people will be giving him hardcore shit, not just because drunk driving is lame and dangerous, but also because in every interview he gives he always talks about how much he 'doesn't want to be an asshole' or how he focuses on work instead of drinking and clubs. But now his actions have turned on him. Hope he gets it all straight after this!!

I don't get the attractiveness either, but it sounds like he's pretty lucky to have caused an injury accident while drunk and only get charged with a misdemeanor. But he's young. There's ample time for bigger offenses.Technically I didn't think he stole from the drug store. Wasn't it just loitering?
