Simon Meets Some New VIPs But Might Lose Paula
Simon Cowell cozied up to a lady friend while partying at Club VIP in St. Tropez yesterday. While he's off in France, controversy over Paula Abdul's return to American Idol is heating up back home. Paula's manager revealed that it seems unlikely she'll return to the show, as she has yet to receive a new contract, and she's apparently upset about Ryan Seacrest's massive raise. Former contestants and fans are tweeting their love for Paula, and she's been busy expressing her appreciation. Idol would be a lot different without her, but we'll have to wait and see what happens before season nine gets underway.
