Suri Keeps Her High Heels on to Visit Tom on Set

Tom Cruise showed off his stuntman skills Friday while filming an action sequence for Wichita in Boston. Cameron Diaz was on set to film Thursday, as she hops between the coasts working on this project and The Green Hornet. She wasn't around for Tom's cuddles with Katie and Suri, who tried their best to keep warm between takes.

Im actually less concerned by the heels than I am about the fact that this little girl looks to be wearing a dress while everyone else is in sweaters coats and scarves. I know people give the Crusies a lot of grief but maybe theres good reason- its one thing to let your child make some decisions to develop thier spirit but consistently not dressing her in weather appropriate clothes is weird..

Katie wants the kid to have the same bunions she has...I've seen those dogs, they're not that cute lol....anyone with even 1/15th of a brain knows she shouldn't be putting a growing foot in those kind of shoes...she's got many years of stiletto's to ruin her own feet...lame

Agree with you, clareberrys! I wore high heels all the time when I was three ++ - I loved it, feeling like I was a little older than I actually was. I love wearing high heels now as well. Anyway, like I said, Suri's one of the prettiest girls in the whole, wide world. God bless Suri and her mother.

wow i think people are taking this topic a little too far - i know i wore heels as a little girl. In fact all little girls dress shoes used to be heels! I dont think i ever wore ballet flats. It was either sneakers or if i was at a wedding or something special i would wear shoes with heels. Guess what - I have never had any growth, muscle or back problems and I'm 5'5 so I think people are just being very judgmental.

I like how all the white western woman are getting riled up about a little girl wearing heals. Don't worry she will grow up to be just like you-- start having sex at 12, change boy freinds like underwear, marry a few times have 5 children with 5 differnt fathers.

Ther only people who should get a grip are the ones that tolerate that a mum risk her child growing healthy. Tendintes and backpain are in the corner for this little one. I don't wish her harm but if ever she got hurt because of putting heels, the same people who are egoistitically trading her safety and growing healthy for cuteness will bite their words back. They are the one who should get a grip and let a child be a child not a little woman ! What next mini version of pantyhose and push up bra at 7 and 4 inches stilletoes and mini black dress at 9 because it's SO CUTE ?

She's on the trailer and playing like most kids do with heels.I did that. She walked with heels but then wore pink rubber shoes that Katie brought. Some are too dramatic and quick to judge.

The first picture is sooooo sweet. People should get a grip. She probably got them for special occasions/dressing up. She probably refused to take them off that minute of that day. 3 year olds are like that. It's highly unlikely her parents are going to 'ruin her tendons' or cause any kind of ill health, or that it's going to happen within 5 hours of putting on a 1 inch heel. Absolute nonsense from hysterical haters, and is always incomprehensibly shrill. She looks darling and the family look close and happy.

it's not surprising. this family is a freak show. the little kid is in a dress or a skirt and on heels but everyone around her is fully covered. obviously, katie doesn't care about her daughter's welfare, she only cares about how her daughter will look on the papz camera, tabs and gossip blogs.

Even if they are little girl's heels, it still advisiable does the same effect : shorten the tendons as they grow since they are often on that pôsition. Any dspecialist of trauma in that area will tell you that. On top of that, high heels put more tension on the muscles lower part of the legs which also cause trauma and change the walk and the pressure on the vertebra with future back problem at a precocious age. How do you expect the young bones to settle in the right place with no future trauma when you put little heels on a 3 years old ? Plus with less equilibrium, she can fall easily breaking her young ankles since they are fragile for lack of basic support. Every responsible parents knows that and let the litlle girl emulate her mum at home with her shoes a few minutes, that's all. Those shoes are made by people obssessed with fashion and wanting to emulate women clothes/habits instead of little girls one. The same people who find it cute those little miss pageant, the same type who will probably put out there thongs for 5 years old one day. They don't care about the health of a child or a child being a child instead of a little woman, until someone fall and break an ankle or a tendon and is smart enough to go to Court with a string of technicians and doctors who will say exactly what i said. It is irresponsible to put high heels to a 2 years old who is supposed to reinforce her bone structure by running a lot and build a healthy column veretebrale.

they are little girl heels - they are completely fine. anyway, i think that it's nice that they are spending so much time together :) i don't know how cam does it though - working on multiple projects.

If she keeps on wearing high heels, not only she rises the risk of breaking her fragile ankles when she is running, but mainly her tendons will grow wasted, shorter that it should and will get weaker, less elasticity, more tense, included in the lower leg part which will lead consequently with chronic trauma causing recurrent tendinites. It's typical of people putting heels when the bone isn't strong enough. I put heels at 15 all the time, i have suffered chronic tendinites in both Ashille tendons since the age of 25 and i can't get rid of it.
