Whitney Port had her coffee and cell phone like a native New Yorker for a walk in Manhattan this week — get her look here . She has some free time now that The City has wrapped for the season, but she recently opened up to Cosmopolitan magazine about all the stress the series has caused her. She said, “I break down a couple of times a week, at least. It gets overwhelming. Sometimes I think that I can’t take this anymore. I just want to live a normal life." The pressures of an unknown city, new job, and end of a relationship can take their toll, but Whitney has great groups of girlfriends on both coasts to help her through any tough times.
Oh, waa waa. Cry me a friggen river. How the eff can a "reality" star complain about this kind of b/s? You brought this upon yourself, bimbo.
1Then refuse the paycheck and LIVE a normal life.
In a normal, crummy apartment, with an actual badly paid, low level fashion job (that you have to get, and keep, on your own merits in an extremely competitive industry). Save up for months for your designer clothes and shoes instead of getting them for free, queue up with the plebs to get into the cool clubs and restaurants...
Yeah, real life is not sounding so appealing now, is it?
Keep your breakdowns to yourself Whitwhit. My heart bleeds.

Great minds Louie...
3I was just thinking the same thing, Kike tee!!
4She would be foolish to pass up these opportunities.
5Agreed with everyone above. Also, what is she wearing here? I like all the pieces individually, but they don't go together at all.
6I see where the other commentators are coming from; however, I feel for her for some reason. Agreed, she chose her own weird path in life and it came with the reality star stigma, but like Sabrina27 I'm thinking most people would have done the same thing.
7Why shouldn't she have a right to express how she feels and complain a little? I know I complain about my job now and then, and it's not like I didn't choose it myself;-)
I am with Kiki tee and Louie.
8She is probably sh*ttin her pants since a lot of Twilight fans aren't happy about what she said! Read the books then watch the movie and then you can comment!
9I don't understand her outfit. & I don't have any sympathy for her either.
10i like her boots.
as for wanting 'out' so to speak - it was her choice to get in on the show, and she can walk away from it. it never seemed like she wanted to be the main person on the Hills, so maybe she should just go back to being a supporting character somewhere.
11Anyone know what brand her boots are??? Love them!
12As much as I think she's totally cute and more down to earth than most "reality" stars, it's so annoying to hear these girls complain about how hard their life is. Kiki tee put it well!
13It must be hard being a reality tv star, being famous for NOTHING...
That being said, she's the only Hills star with a decent wardrobe.
14She can always give up and have a normal life!
15she just seems so boring.she should be happy that people even watch her show and has the life she does.i don't get how the complain but yet they want the perks.
16Oh pleeeeease.....couldn't agree more with Kiki tee's comment above....Didn't she just graduate from college??? Just enjoy having a "fake" job, an apartment, tons of money to spend on clothes while other people keep losing their "real" jobs all over the country. If you're having a bad day, just go online and take a look at your bank account instead of complaining!
17**WHY*** do we continue to post "news" on these stupid reality efftards? Get some real news on here or I'm starting my own website with real celebrities!!!!
18Listen - while I agree with everyone, I also know that she is young, and probably didn't fully realize what she was getting herself into and while it's true that she can just "walk away" she probably signed a contract and I respect her for fulfilling it. It good for her to speak out a little -- maybe others will realize that all the free crap and apparent glamour aren't worth losing yourself.
That said, once she re-ups, remaining traces of sympathy evaporate.
