Zac and Vanessa Ditch High School For a Bikini Beach Getaway

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens took their real-life romance on vacation to Turks and Caicos, and it looks like things got a lot steamier than anything we'll see in the High School Musical movies. The young couple showed off their hot beach bodies strolling on the surf and kayaking in the ocean when they weren't meeting few of their biggest fans. Sounds like they've still got plenty of supporters, but are you over High School Musical 3 already?

I think it's so moronic that people are making a huge fuss over the second picture. They are two young people who are in love and they were having fun, obviously. This picture was taken AFTER High School Musical 3. Everyone just needs to leave them alone. How would YOU like it if you and your girlfriend/boyfriend were just having fun at the beach and some idiot took a picture of you guys and then everyone started critisizing you about it? Just let them be.

well they're old enough. people keep saying she's skanky this and that but she's had one boyfriend for the past 3 years and she's 20 now (though at the time this pic was taken, she wasn't) so whatevs. they're on a PRIVATE beach actually, on a PRIVATE resort that they paid 8k a night for, for privacy! it was also during the non busy season so it was pretty much deserted. i always wondered why celebs pay so much, i don't think it's about how rad the accommodations are, but for privacy. these days paps can be miles away hiding in sand dunes and you wouldn't even know it.i was wondering why her parents would be so willing to let her go on late night romps but if i were in a serious relationship w/ someone at that age (i mean, you have to think about how you age when you are a child celeb) i'd just get over it. if she really wanted to sneak out she would anyways. i'm 22 now..i'm glad i wasn't like that as a kid for my folks! ha

Vanessa is a skank. I'm sorry but you don't send naked pictures of yourself to your boyfriend when you're a teenager, especially in this age of technology I can't believe Zac and Vanessa are still together.

Jessa, what you and everyone that can't understand why people are bothered by this are not seeing is that none of us care if the two of them have "sexy times". Yes, they're plenty old enough, let them do what they want. Everyone's issue here is that they do it in public while they are supposed to be role models to pre-teen kids. I could care less what they do behind closed doors, but I don't want a kindergarten class watching the da***d video!

errr... I think Disney made a huge mistake a few years ago when they had Vanessa Hudgens star on HSM. She played the good-girl to get the part and some attention for a while, and then went back to her old (natural) ways of being a skank.. Is she even signed with Disney anymore? Because they finished the HSM series for good...

anya, you are so right about that. I remember being 15, and THE LAST thing I was thinking about was what boy I was going to sleep with! It was more thinking about the boy I was crushing on and wanting him to notice me. Most girls were too SHY to approach a boy directly. Now these little girls are so FORWARD. OMG! Some of the little tarts my 16 year old has brought home would make you want to lock your little darlings in a closet until their 80. I just wonder where THEIR parents are. I don't choose my sons friends, but I sure do fret over them. However, it makes me feel really good when that 16 year old son of mine tells me he's not seeing so-and-so anymore because she was too "fast" for him. WHEW! And anya, I hope I didn't come across as critical of you, that wasn't my intention.

Mykie7 – Fortunately my kids are still young enough that they don't have access to "public computers" and the like. They're really not without me much and my oldest is just starting the whole "sleepover" thing and so far it's been with parents that don't even let their kids watch Disney or use computers yet. I am really able to control them right now. Thank God for that! However YES I know it'll change and I'll have to go with the flow and be as involved as I possibly can. I always try to think back to when I was a pre-teen, teenager and I did see things that weren't always PC and I turned out just fine. I didn't go sleeping around with everyone and this was back when kids had alot more freedom.

You make a great point anya, but sometimes it's not a matter of what you "let" your kids watch. Did you know that they can view these sites in the libraries at school? In the public libraries? At friends houses whose parents aren't as strict? I feel like you do, and I KNOW what my kids are doing, and I pray that I have given them enough sense of right and wrong that they won't break my rules when I'm not with them. But that would be in a perfect world. They're still kids and they still have friends that influence them. I mean, my kids are 10 and 16. I am not with them 24/7. IN fact during the summer my 16 year old watches his brother all day while I'm at work. Now, like I said I lay down boundaries and tell them what they can and can't do, but I have to trust that they're not doing the things that I don't want them to. However, I'd be naive if I said that I was sure they ALWAYS do what I tell them. They're kids right?

I definately don't think these photos are what I would want my kids to see (and they ADORE her), however Disney caters to the "young" crowd and having "young" kids myself, I'm certainly NOT letting them scour popsuger (sorry pop), nor viewing Perez Hilton, Vanity Fair (i.e. Miley) so really photos like these shouldn't be an issue if you actually monitor what your kids watch!

BUTi also think because of their association to disney and the amount of exposure they obviously know they get they shouldn't act like this is a public place because of their influence over younger generations they have a social responsibility to lead by example.
