Alicia Keys and husband Swizz Beatz only welcomed their son Egypt last week, but yesterday they were already out and about in NYC! New mom Alicia looked chic as always in her blazer and big earrings, while Swizz was ready for Fall with his hooded sweatshirt. Swizz is keeping the love flowing for his wife on Twitter, while Alicia herself expressed her emotions over becoming a new mom. u can bring ur baby out when u damn well please. I wouldn't for awhile cuz of all the virus' and shit they can catch. And the immune system is so weak.. as far as them cheating? What makes alicia think she differant? He cheated before what makes u think he won't on u?? I love alicia keys, met her quite a few times. Been to so many shows. No that is not true.You can bring your baby out and about if yo want to. To all the ones hating saying that she not suppose to be out with the baby,stop hating because she is grown and married and she can do whatever she please,,when you have your baby then you can keep your baby locked until he/she get 1 years old..but that's crazy to do..you are not the parents of egypt or the parents of alicia keys so don't say whay she suppose to do or not suppose to do..

I understand all sides. However, it is true that they ask the mother to stay in for a couple of days because she has just had a baby and her pores, etc. need to close. She could have exposed herself to infection, etc. As far as the baby, they are new and it may be best to keep them home due to the germs being generated being around a lot of people. Honestly, I was just surfing and found this article. People do what they do no matter what. Personally, after having a newborn I was a little tired and welcomed a little R&R and bonding time with my new baby.

No specific comments. Just enjoyed reading what every1 had 2 say, hilarious. Officially there is no specific time when u r 2 let a baby go outside after delivery, but it is important for the new mom to take it easy for ~10 days. All the best to the them & the new one.

what is this shit you people are saying "no the baby can't leave the house until a month" are you crazy? i swear to god you idiots make up your own rules. When you have kids then you will see that its perfectly ok to leave your house. I had a c-section and my baby being a week old we would go everywhere, now hes 13 months old and never had one health problem, god i hate no-it-alls

I am so moved by Alicia's songs and lyrics, and I am old enough to be her mother. She has a gift and touches lives and I can't wait to see what she comes up with now that she is a new mom because her music has evolved and become so moving and her love and caring comes out in all she sings. If she is as happy as I think, her future and music will be more amazing

NUH-HUH u r supposed to stay in the house at least a month after you done had your baby then go outside. Alicia didn't need to go shopping that bad and I know she has people to do that for her. Well i guess its 2010 and things r different now

Once you have a baby the baby is fine to be outside the same day it's born the mother is the one that is suppose to be in the house, her insides was just exposed. You can't tell ppl when the bring there child out side or what city to bring them out in. As far them being cheaters, who cares did either one of them cheat on you, no I didn't think so...if they cheated that's their sin to deal with no one elses. I'm a stronger beliver in how u get someone will be the same way you loose them, so if they cheated then Alica will have to deal with the same pain she caused someone else. I wish them both the best of luck and I hope their son grows up to be a healthy happy child.

I still believe that a newborn baby system is not ready to be out within four days of birth. Especially in New York City....one of the biggest and busiest. There are all kind of toxins in the air that could possibly stick to the blanket that is covering him up. She needs to just sit down for a minute...you would think the mom would of stayed home with the baby and Alicia and Swiss go out and about.
