Angelina and Brad are individuals. The Jolie-Pitt Foundation is not. They each have individual charities they support and they can give whatever they like anonymously to those entities. Brad has makeitrightnola.org and NotOnOurWatch as well as the J-P Foundation. AJ has KIND, Global Action For Children, The All Tribes Foundation, The Maddox Chivan Children's Helath Center and The Maddox Jolie-Pitt Millennium Project. She also personally funds 13 schools for girls in Africa and has personally given to many post-Katrina/Rita relief projects for education in Louisiana and Mississippi. Individual tax returns are not publicly available. Additionally, The J-P Foundation only has to declare publicly what they gave in a round total and what they spent on administration, not any details.
Stable , nurturing environment is being with your family everyday, being read bed time stories by both parents, enjoying adventures with your siblings, going to playdates with your friends(like Kimora Lee Simmons kids and Johnny Depps kids-crabbing, playing videogames accoring to Depp), attending birthday parties of your classmates(like Zahara American Girl party with Chris Cornell's daughter), going to the mall with friends in Budapest ( I saw the cell phone video),visiting museums in Paris, Venice, Budapest, spending time with your grandparents(the Pitts two weeks in Venice) and family spending 4 days in Springfield . Which according to a local was their 4 th trip to Springfield in 2010.The kids are blessed to be exposed to those who have the least(refugees) and have the comforts of wealth. to be able to visit the set/work place and the have parents who work less than 6 months a year. Angie -3 months on The Tourist, 6 weeks on Budapest project. Brad 3 months on Moneyball.Great life IMO

Jolie has supported the efforts of SOS Children Village for over 5 years.. given millions to them to take care of orphans in many countries including the US. So I don't think anyone broke the banks or robbed orphans of a meal by springing at the local bakery for $6.00 worth of rolls and an oj. (eye roll).

Imagine the type of people that need to follow someone's lead when it comes to charity. I donate because I want to and it comes from my heart not because I saw someone else do it.

How do we know how much is done without a press release? Probably because by law the Jolie Pitt Foundation is required to release their taxes showing all money in and out to maintain their non profit status. And donations are there that were not announced. The ones we do hear about are 9 times out 10 are due to the organization receiving the donation requesting to release an announcement to bring awareness to their cause and to spearhead more donations. Some here just sound bitter that Jolie isn't in rehab like the fictitious tabloid stories claim and instead is still doing her charity work and editing her movie at Universal Studios. Sour grapes.

It must be nice to sit behind a computer and judge other people all day long. Some of you commenters are so hateful, and not just in relation to this particular celebrity, but to all celebrities. I wish I had the time every day to comment rudely on people's looks, children, movies, etc. You can call the people trying to leave positive feedback names and say they're 'loonies', but I would rather be a loonie than someone who spews hatred all over the place. And I don't even like AJ and BP that much. However, what she is doing is good for the children in those villages and I can appreciate that, regardless of what I think of her personal life choices. Which isn't much, because I have my own personal life to think about. /end lunch rant.

A lot of people in this "jacked up economy" can't afford to donate money or time to charity. It's nice that Brangelina do, but we don't need to hear about it all the time. As for those who "KNOW that there has to be a million things that Brad and Angelina do that we don't see"...really? How do you KNOW that?
In 2011 I will ignore pathetic haters and focus on the good work Angie does by increasing awareness of great organizations like SOS Villages. Last year I donated to SOS Villages USA. Its extraordinary and inspiring that Nathalie went from living in a group home to becoming am attorney. I'm also inspired by Brad's work in NOLA and the Maddox Jolie Pitt Center in Cambodia. Angie is beautiful inside and out.

I agree wtih 8:55am Anon. I KNOW that there has to be a million things that Brad and Angelina do that we don't see. But the stuff we do see...GOOD...it brings attention (and donations) to the cause ESPECIALLY because a celebrity is promoting it. People toot their noses up but admit it, when was the last time you sent money to one of those "starving children" organizations? Hm..most likely because you didn't know the senior white gentleman...no matter how wholesome he looks. I think what Brad and Angelina are doing is wonderful. I don't know what their motives are NOR do I care. And I DON'T care about their personal lives in relation to their charities. As long as they are helping others and giving away some of their millions to help others like you and I never could...I AM HAPPY. I will NOT complain.
