Angelina Jolie was in Ecuador on Friday to meet with the country's president, Rafael Correa, and to discuss issues related to displaced people in the area. She also participated in a live video event with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to mark World Refugee Day after touring a rural region of the nation on Thursday. Angelina was off next to Haiti, though there was little coverage of her being there, as she wanted to keep the trip quiet. She was among the first stars to issue a statement after the earthquake struck the island in January, and she spent time there in February visiting with kids and meeting with Dominican Republic officials to talk about aid packages. Angelina didn't participate in George Clooney's telethon to benefit survivors, but Angelina may be happy to know that a similar event has been organized for those suffering due to the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico.
