Ben Affleck put his poker skills to the test at Saturday's Playing For Good charity event in Beverly Hills. The fundraiser, which was sponsored by Las Vegas's Tropicana hotel, also drew celebs like Paul Rudd and Nigel Lythgoe to the tables. Ben is back home after making a quick trip to Paris a couple of weeks ago and has been hanging out with his girls, Jennifer, Seraphina, and Violet, lately as he preps to direct his upcoming project Argo. The film took him to Turkey to scout locations in April, but he was sure to head back to LA just in time for Mother's Day. Ben chose to focus on his work behind the camera instead of accepting a role in Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby. Fans will still get a chance to see Ben on screen in an untitled Terrence Malick project that also stars Rachel McAdams. The already-completed movie's attracting plenty of buzz, especially now that Malick's The Tree of Life won the Palme d'Or, the Cannes Film Festival's highest honor, over the weekend.

Welcome Home Ben!! It's sweet to see him back in the states and involved in this charity by doing what he enjoys!! I respect that he is very private and wish that his family would not be hunted down daily. All the best and look forward to his upcoming projects~

Those of you concerned with Ben and Jen's together time are not fans and should not be speculating on the status of their family time. Ben Affleck is not as adept in handling the paparazzi when it comes to his personal life mainly due to the fact that he was hounded by them during his Bennifer days and has a very strong lack of tolerance for lies and misconception they write about him (case in point, he has a gambling problem, which he does not, that he a cheater, he is not, nor does he have an addiction to alcohol, he did a stint in rehab for it but has been sober for years, yet the rumors persist. No wonder, he has no love for the media and only makes use of them for professional purposes. His family is quite another matter. Please think before making baseless comments regarding a good and kind hearted man like Ben Affleck. Am I a fan? Damn skippy.

After Mother's Day Ben Affleck was filming on Location in Paris France. He is still working on the Terrence Malick movie. There are photos of Ben (another site) arriving back at LAX a couple days ago. He hasn't been in town. And Jen stayed home with the kids. No big deal.

Anonymous11:50am @ Mother Day was how long ago and he letting the paparazzi stop him from being seen with his family doing “normal” things; he wasn’t at the Cannen’s so why even bring that up. Canyou people read he been photograph out of the country and just got back in town so how can he be spending time with his kids away from the paparazzi if he’s out of town?

Sorry, but if I were a celebrity with paps following me every day, they would harldly ever see me with my husband, you know why? Because he works, he has an office and that's where he is for 8 hours, I am the one that takes my kids everywhere. And on the weekends my husband wants to stay home with the kids, he doesn't want to got to a park filled with women and screaming kids, I imagine just like my husband, Ben is spending time with his kids, it's just not visable to you and I because it's in the privacy of his own home. Jen runs errands constantly, which I agree seems a bit excessive, but then again her life is a lot more busier than yours and mine. See the big picture people, don't be so narrow-minded!!

Nigel Barker is SO hot, saw him in the Chelsea Market like 2 weeks ago and he's extremely tall....had hair too, not his ANTM baldie he rocks...anywho, isn't letting Ben Affleck gamble the same as letting Lindsay Lohan work in a pharmacy?

Popsugar says Ben....."has been hanging out with his girls, Jennifer, Seraphina, and Violet, lately" Ummm....When?? All I have been seeing is Jen's daily parade of her kids down the same pap filled places and streets. Ben is mostly non-existent in her daily photo-ops, so much so that she looks like a single mother.
