she's far from overweight...what you (most likely) emaciated, 13 yr old boy body types fail to realize is that she gets extra bulky when she exercises...she's one of those that builds muscle extremely fast, it's not cellulite...the outfits don't help her any b/c they're just ugly and cheap but please don't call her fat...and I'm 5'3", 117 pounds so don't assume I'm some big girl coping pleas for Britney but lets be real here

Fat? Really? She looks better than 99% women on this planet. The 18-year old Britney had the best bod in the industry, it's hard to compete with that, even if you're 29-year old Britney with two kids. Her dancing would probably be better if she didn't wear those heals.

I think she looks good, all things considered. No, she can't really dance anymore...she marks her moves. Oh well. She still cranks out the tunes her core audience/fans will continue to buy. If she just threw on some black pants over her one pieces, it would look better. Oh well. :shrug:

I don't think I'll ever understand why she goes for that kind of image. If I were Britney, I'd wouldn't want to be seen as just a sexual object. I'm sure there's more to her than this image, but I don't understand why she doesn't seem to want to show anything else of herself.

Yes her image is the most important part of her job and with that in my mind she failed.The less(or no) talented people in this profession have to be skinny,pretty or crowd pleasers and appeal to either guys(Megan Fox) or women(Jennifer Aniston).Still some comments remind me why I laugh when I read that someone's too skinny.Pls.

those outfits do her no favors. she's a big girl now, and she should dress accordingly. no one wants to see thighs like that. if brit wants to rock the skimpy; she needs to lose about 30 lbs. otherwise, wear something that covers more.

Such important 'things to do' that you could drop them to tell other people how to think to protect this fantastic lie that is Britney Spears. I give props to the machine that hums in the background. She's just the puppet. And no I'm not a fan of hers. I think her fans are either high or crazy to listen to more than a few seconds. I just thought I'd share my thoughts since I didn't have s* else to do for the past 30 secs.

Sunshine, she might be a babe to you, but not everyone has to agree. None of us could look like we did when we were 18 -besides the fact that we aren't celebs making money off of our image/looks- many stars give their best effort to look their best like Victoria beckham, Shakira, Giselle, Jenn Aniston etc etc...because that's their profession, to project a certain image. Britney, despite the breakdown, has been doing better for herself no doubt, but it's obvious to all with eyes that she's not even trying as a performer. If she was not a popstar depending heavily on her looks, nobody would care, but since she is, I don't believe being a blind fan and praising her just for being her, is going to make her want to push herself. Btw, I'm not a celeb but I do take very good care of myself and in my appearance so I'm definitely not in the insecure crowd and I do believe some people here sound like they are defending themselves more than Britney.

No one has a right to judge anyone. Ever. Who do you people think you are? Once again, she looks NORMAL! If her dancing is what you're concerned about then you really need to get over it. She hasn't danced spectacularly in YEARS. Actually, wait, her dancing in the Circus video was pretty damn amazing. I agree with 16. If you have a problem with her don't buy what she's selling. 12- Sex appeal and dancing? Blackout wasn't even promoted and it did pretty damn well. It was one of her best albums to date. What do you say about that? She may not have the greatest of voices but the girl knows what songs work for her voice. We can sit here and criticize every celebrity out there but why bother? I'm sure we have more important things to do with our lives, or at least I do.

12- Are you a Britney fan at all? I don't worship the girl but I do know that Blackout was one of her best albums to date and she didn't promote it at all! She didn't perform any singles except that one time she sang Gimme More and looked like a hot mess. She doesn't have a strong voice but her songs are catchy as hell and that's why people keep going back to watch her. You see the paparazzi shots of her almost daily, you know how her hair looks on those days, and you've seen her 'not' dance on her last album. What the eff were you expecting this time around? Her body is fine. Stop being such an ass. You can't tell me she hasn't been improving since performing Gimme More. She's a mother of two who actually looks like she spends time with her kids because you never see them with a Nanny. Not everyone can be like the crypt keeper aka Madonna.

First of all, Britney is a babe. Now, I get that she doesn't look like she did when she was 18, but who does? Not any other pop star out there, that's who (and I'm guessing not any of you either). Yes, we expect entertainment from her, but she still delivers on that front. Ever thought that YOU'VE changed since she was 18? My guess is yes and you're looking for something else in entertainment now. Also, have you ever met a cheerleader? Lots of cheerleaders have "tree trunks" as commenter #2 so sensitively put it -- it's called STRENGTH. She could probably snap a tree branch with those thighs, from her rehearsals and performances. She's always had muscular legs, we're just becoming more and more critical. If you don't like her music, you don't like her look, whatever, just don't buy her CD or concert ticket, don't verbally trash her. It's the people tearing her down with poor self esteem, not the people supporting her.

The problem with Britney is that once your audience sees you at what they consider your best, they won't accept you any other way. Her best was a rocking hard body and high energy performances. The same can be said for Janet Jackson.

She is a normal sized woman wearing inappropriate clothing. Nothing wrong with her body, but alot is wrong with her costumes. Not flattering at all. But my biggest question is how was the performance? She has made her fortune on her looks and moves (I won't say dancing or singing), so it is probably not unusual for people to comment on her looks.

I think we have a right to judge her if she's strutting her stuff and giving us a show. I mean that's her job isn't it? To look hot, dance and sing..But she does NONE of the above, I think we can say whatever we want. You girls should stop projecting your insecurities on her and stop forming a fake sisterhood with people online who have the same insecurities, it's really lame.

7-U can't be a superstar if u look like an average nobody, she sold her music thru sex appeal and dance skills, it's normal we want to see that from her. If she can't bring it, she shld try something else or drop out all together just sayin.

For someone her age trained by a personal trainer, she looks sloppy and regular. That doesn't cut it when you make millions to be spectacular. No one can judge her by singing ability. She sings about as much as Uncle Ben makes rice. Ronald's in the kitchen frying up hamburgers. She's a name to sell a product and the product is casual sex. Well she doesn't look like a man's or lesbian's fantasy anymore. She doesn't look like a woman that a trans wants to emulate anymore. So... she should take her money, thank her lucky stars she already made it and stay home and stop embarrassing herself.

Not a fan, but I agree that the costumes aren't flattering for her figure--which is fine, by the way. She's got proportionately shorter legs when compared to her the length of her torso. The ankle boots and low sit of the leg openings really emphasize that fact.

There's nothing really wrong with her body. She is a normal size and weight. It's the costumes; they are not flattering on her. At all. Not every body type looks good in everything.

LOSE WEIGHT? Are you people on crack? She looks normal. Her weight isn't going to change the fact that she can't dance anymore. That's just never going to happen. Her figure right now is pretty damn perfect. She looks toned and she actually has boobs now. I'm sure she's happy with what she has.
