i don't know the answer to the race question, but it certainly seems like the adoption process goes a lot faster for celebrities.

@robertomarquezm In several communities, babies of minority races aren't adopted as much as white babies are. A family friend of mine adopted children of different races because she saw that mostly white babies were getting adopted, and some minority babies were looked over, and were left in foster care. All children need love, regardless of race, so it shouldn't even be an issue at all.

Why adopt a child from another race ? Is it guilt ? Is it trendy ? I live in a country (Venezuela ) where race is no issue at all except in the minds of some politicians and a handfull of stupid people. You will never see a sign forbiding acces to a place because skin color ,or an add for a worker asking for some race in particular,they might specify gender but NEVER RACE.Still I find intriguing why Angelina , Mrs Theron ,etc adopt children from other races. Are there not needed and abandoned white children in their countries? Is this not a reverse form of racism ? Is it more difficult to disconnect your feelings from a kid with blue eyes ?I admire both actress as actresses ,but I would like to understand their actions on this matter.
